Why do we need a new switch? Is it different than the stock?
You don’t need it but it makes the process much easier to not have to mess with those little wires for most people.

So I placed an order for a cold white GT with the strap and lens cover, how long does it typically take to receive them? I’m pretty excited to get it.
Once shipped it generally arrives in about a week or so.
TA posted on October 18th that he recieved notification that they had shipped. I’m US based and recieved mine yesterday, October 22nd. If you’re in the US, you should be getting it any day now.
I ordered mine on 10/20, so it will probably be at least a week, but I didn’t know if they were coming from the US or overseas. I ordered from lumintoponline.
If you just placed your order then it may not ship until the end of the week (they generally don’t actually give the packages to the forwarder until the weekend for some reason).
They all come from Shenzhen China.
are there any updates on the NW conversion kits? I ordered mine on September 12th but it has not shipped yet.
All of the orders were shipped late last week, including the GT70’s and conversion kits.
The status on the website will not be updated until they have the tracking numbers which could be another week from now if the past is any indication.
The GT70’s were shipped DHL and are already being delivered, the conversion kits went airmail and will take a bit longer.

This may be a dumb question but where can I check my order status? I know it’s not going to be updated just yet but where can I find my order? Lumintop’s website does not have a login area for me.
My NW conversion kit was tucked inside the box with my GT70 so I would assume the single order conversion kits should be arriving very soon as well.
Which should i get CW or NW?
Help me decide.

At the top left corner of the lumintop website is a sing in option to your account.
Unless you will be de-doming I would go with NW, it does not have as much light saber effect but looks better in every other way IMHO.
