I was fortunate enough to win during your last giveaway the Supfire A6. It is one of only two 18650 lights that I have, the other being my Emisar D4. While technically a 18650 light, I run my D4 with the short tube and an 18350, So the A6 is actually the only light I run with 18650s. I use it often. You got it too me originally just before a vacation, and on that trip I used it most nights when we took the dog for a walk to spot bunnies in the neighborhood. I have found it a great companion for my D4 on nightly walks at home as well. The D4 does great in illuminating our walking path, but when I want to spy owls flying in the distance the A6 puts a great spot on them.
Don’t I already have enough flashlights? Yes, eh… no. Please put me on your list.
My late mother-in-law always said: at my bedsite is always room for one more man in a white coat.
Thinking of how things have evolved.
I used to go on holidays in a noisy car, with a moody wife who could not read maps.
Technically everything has evolved like from zinc-carbon into Li-Ion batteries.
So now I go on holidays in a comfortable car with sat-nav, …. and a moody wife.
My only funny stories involved destroying several leds when I was reflowing them onto boards, zapping other leds by hitting them with my soldering iron, and somehow managing to unsolder a fet on a driver board when I was doing a spring bypass (not sure how that happened even to this day).
Come to think about it they really weren’t funny……painful is a better word I think.
