I’ve noticed some of the channels randomly show that charge capacity and discharge capacity are exactly the same numbers. The past two times I noticed it was channel 4. One time I caught it, the charge rate was at 99% and showing something like ~3063 mah and then it jumped to 100% directly after and was ~3103 mah, which was exactly what it displayed as the discharge mah.
Yea that happens on mine too. But usually the charge and discharge capacity is very close anyways. Whatever it is, I just use the discharge capacity on the screen. This is the response I got from Xtar several months ago.
After looking at a few of the pictures I took of the issue, it seems the charge capacity is usually listed as higher than the discharge capacity, so I’ll just go off the discharge capacity when this happens. Not a huge deal I guess but kind of annoying. Though I wonder if maybe the discharge capacity is actually more useful anyway.
Charge and discharge capacity having the same reading occur about 15% of the time from my experience. You need to go off the discharge capacity because that is how much you will get when you use it in your device (e.g. flashlight) that will be discharging the cell.
