I’m not in for the giveaway as I live too far away for reasonable postage costs.
People on this forum are also going to call me the biggest liar when I say “I have enough flashlights”

What do you do for a living in Foley? Are you a farmer?
I looked it up and see that you have less people in your town than I have on my block!

Thank you for the nice words Robowski. This forum has been so welcoming and helpful to me. Anytime I find some good deals I try to snag a few and use them as giveaways. Everyone loves a giveaway.

Yes the town I live in is pretty small. I actually don’t live in town limits, I am a few miles to the west of town in a unincorporated part of the county. Very quite and peaceful out here. We didn’t have any businesses in town until a few months ago when they put in a Dollar General. We use to have a bar but, a dump truck came into town too fast one day and ran it over. We had a small convenience store that was bright pink. It burned down. We do still have a post office though. It’s only open for 6 hours a day and 2 on Saturdays. Last time the census was taken I think there were 161 people that lived in town. Lost quite a few since then. Probably closer to 140 or so by now.

I guess you could say I am semi retired. I still work but am lucky enough to be able to pick when and what I do. I am a design engineer for a fire suppression company. I just draw up the plans and design the systems for industrial applications. Sprinklers, heat/smoke detection, pull stations, strobes, things like that. Pretty boring actually. I do most all of my work from home. Which is great, I love being home for the kids and working on all my started but not completed little projects.

Thanks Toddcshoe for the interesting story. It’s always good to find out how people live on the other side of the planet.
I always thought most BLF members were cave dwellers and that was why they need all those flashlights!!
I do similar work to you as a freelance structural designer, doing drafting of mostly mining work here in Western Australia.
