Led4power.com : LD-4 CC linear drivers, ILC-0/1 illuminated tailcaps, optics, MOSX, copper DTP MCPCBs...

Trying to set the max power of my LD-A4. 10+ clicks enters main menu, OK, 5 fast clicks blinks and power goes down. 1 click enters current adjustment, OK, 1 blink and current goes down again. I click 7 times for 4.75A. I get 15 blinks in response. What’s up?

BTW 30 seconds of idle time was WAY too fast for me, I needed over a minute just to read the relevant section.

That’s right

Correct, now you are in the setting you chose

Wrong, in the “low light” setting, 1 click = return, >= 2 clicks: Setting

You now left the setting and went back into the menu

That should not happen as you left the setting and now are in the general menu

That’s wrong, you now should be in setting 7 (whatever that is)

You can always enter again.
But in that case, read first, note the settings you want and then start configuring…

I meant 5 fast blinks, not clicks.

Making notes, that’s a good idea. Still, I believe that making the duration much longer would make the adjustment easier.

LED4POWER, can you tell me tint bin of the LH351D 4000k 90CRI you are selling? It says SPHWHTL3DA0GF4T0Q6, which means tint bin is T0 but there is no T0 tint bin.

Oh NVM, I see description says T6.

Isn’t 12amps too much for a triple 219B? Did it run fine? How many lumens were you making?

Forgot to let my feedback on the things received! All good and some are already in use

BTW, it took me a while to figure out how to operate the driver configuration, but then it was all full speed ahead!
I’ll be getting some more soon and other stuff as well!

Thanks for you work :+1:

Ordered 10x Luxeon V2 4000K 70CRI from DigiKey, excited to try these out. I think the 5000K versions will begin showing up in less than a month it seems. I’m sure LED4Power is already on top of this

The original 4040 Luxeon V has one of the most evenly tinted beams of any LED I have seen so if this is remotely similar it will easily become my go to 70 CRI LED choice for 3535 footprint.

I am not too smart.

6×0.5mm Gold Plated Brass Button Contact

This means 6mm not 6 contacts. Public service announcement.

Don’t feel bad, I made the same mistake because I added this item at the last minute and did not pay enough attention :person_facepalming:

… +1 :person_facepalming:
I was expecting 6 and only 2 arrived! I should start reading things carefully
But I didn’t need them yet :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL. Glad I wasn’t the only one.

Maybe L4P can update the description for us and create a “discount” pricing tier

Yup, adding a 2 x “6mmx0,5mm” would be more elucidating

I have one doubt about the LD-A4! I am using mine with a foward clicky switch on the OTR M1!
I have it configured with Moonlight + 3 modes, with the 2x clicks for Turbo.

However, when I double click it (half press as it is a FC switch), it doesn’t assume the “go to turbo” most of the times!
Also, sometimes I have to click 2 times after being on “momentary” moonlight so that it goes to turbo. Maybe this is related to being a FC instead of a reverse clicky switch?!

But another strange thing happens! Imagining I am on mode 2 (low, after moonlight) and I double click (half press), it will go to mode 4 (turbo) but it always take a bit longer on the mode 3; meaning, from modes 2 to 4, it always passes and “waits” on mode 3 to slightly step up to 4…

This happens both with FC and RC switches. Is this normal? Or can it be related to some bad installation I might have done?

Thanks and sorry for the confusing questions :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually I fell for this as well.

Changed listing to "6mmx0.5mm (DxT) gold plated brass button contact" to prevent further confusion.

It's difficult to mimic reverse clicky with forward clicky switch, mostly you can do only simple operations.

L4P, are you going to sell the Luxeon V2?
I’ve noticed it’s in stock on Digikey and Mouser.

Maybe later, reels of V2 have 2500pcs, not the usual 1000pc.

Osram KW CSLPM1.TG (2mm2) is available now:

https://led4power.com/product-category/leds1/osram/

Kills XP-G2 in throw, while having 1500lm+ output, which is great for factory undomed 2mm2 LED with pure white tint. Vf is ridiculously low, 3V@3A,3.13V@5A,3.3V@8,5A.

The 3rd best bin this time.
Can’t wait for more precise results to know what the 1500+ actually is. Q8WP was just as throwy as Black Flat. This one would need about 1900 to compete with White Flat.
That Vf is truly extreme.

My error, Mouser doesn’t stock it yet, but Digikey offers the following quantities (L1V2-4070000000000):

- 1000 $0.8464

- 500 $0.8667

- 250 $0.9750

- 100 $1.0834

- 25 $1.2460

- 10 $1.6790

  • 1 $1.9000
