I wonder if that’s intended to rule out PP intervention if there’s a problem with an order.
Oh, well, there’s always filing a complaint with the credit card company.
I never had any problem with aliexpress support. Had a few situations where I received damaged product or it simply didn’t arrive and even if seller was trying not to refund my money aliexpress always ruled out full refund after opening dispute.
I never pay with PayPal. There is an option of using polish market-specific services (przelewy24, PayU) that work kind of like PP but are much more flexible and do not require sending detailed personal data to them in order to make any payment, I do use these usually but never had to contact them to get my issues resolved.
In aliexpress I also do not pay with Paypal because of the fees. Aliexpress has a convenient enough option to pay with Ideal, which is a common dutch paying system. It does not have the customer protection system that Paypal has so I only do smallish payments this way. Very large payments I would do with a credit card, but that hardly ever happened sofar.
BTW, the interest list is all that its, a list to show Sofirn the number of “interests”. The first batch (300) was already sold and more will come, in black in boths tints. Later the coloured hosts will arrive as well!
Please check on AliExpress Sofirn Official Store to buy the flashlights when they are availble :+1:
Well Ali now claims they’ve shipped three lights priced either $7.01 or $7.02 — they’re really confused over there.
Maybe they managed to get money from a credit card or PayPal without my ever approving a payment.
There are other market segments that don’t post here- why else would Fenix have taken so long to produce neutral tints and other highly desired features?
That said this is one of the coolest things about the BLF specials. Manufacturers working with people who know about and want to buy a product essentially offload a chunk of R&D and market research costs and get a more successful product. I wonder how many BLF A6/Astrolux S1 flashlights have sold? It has seemed popular among all the other flashlights on Banggood for a long time, so it probably found an audience far beyond BLF and sold extremely well. On our side, we’ve had wide availability of an excellent light and originally it came at a very good price.
The whole point of this project to me was the Yuji leds. If they change it to something else then I probably won’t be buying them. So the first 300 might be the chosen few who get these little Yuji gems?
Why do you think that? As mentioned several times in this thread, and is also on the top of the OP, 2000 pieces wil be made with Yuji leds, of which 1000 with 5600K Yuji led, and 1000 with 3200K Yuji led. A first batch of 300 was made for the 11-11 sale, the rest will follow.
