Yes, I have not purchased them because probably I will get different ones, or fake ones. Paypal someday will stop protecting the buyer as normal. Too much money spent in protecting customers or not? If all chinese sellers starts lying and paypal will have to protect all the customers....... paypal will stop protecting.... so I will not purchase them

These cells are of a different chemistry. The Ultrafire ones are limn hybrid cells. They offer a higher discharge rate (due to the chemistry) and lower capacity -> 1200-1600mAh.
I do not think these are fake as they also sell the GTL 18650 for $18.80 for 10. These are rubbish, Seller's don't know much about batteries, they just buy and sell them.
Don't forget the cheaper items are usually marked up the greatest. Like for exmaple 18650 plastic cases are sold for $1 when the wholesale price is $0.19 each. Maybe this seller is not marking up as high. Maybe he has purchased in bulk and wants to sell quickly to make a profit.
I bought 4 for the sake of not missing a good deal. If they turns out to be total junk, then paypal dispute...

Would these cells be ok to use in a laptop battery?
Maybe if you could modify them. But because they have protection circuitry and a button positive end, they probably are too long for a laptop battery pack as is.
I was thinking the same thing. I guess I will skip this deal...
I thought about it for a while and then ordered 4. I'm not expecting them this year - probably just about everyone else on the planet will get them before me 
I'm not impressed that a former colony can ship stuff faster to anywhere on the planet that isn't here....

People in HK are native. They were not a british colonies like UK used to have in the USA but british enforced there power to their territory. I can't beleive that Cyprus people think of themselves as british rather than Greek just because for some years British possesed the island. If so then the whole world has Greek roots because Great Alexander made the first world empire (as a payback to the Persians for there wars against Greece) which evolved to the Roman which was a latin-greek civilization empire.
On the otherhand USA consisted in the begining of british,french,german,irish,spanish,dutch..colonies. You guys enforced power upon all other colonies but in the end they became indipendent.

Most of the colonies became independent because of one ideology that the colonists brought with them from Europe: nationalism. Is true for the US, India and Mexico to name a few.

Theese from DX and theese from Ebay are obviously not the same. The Ebay ones has flames after the word TrustFire, the other has not. Also there are no recess (from the prot. board) at the bottom of the Ebay ones.
I ordered two pairs before I saw that.
Yes I compared my two 18650 from DX to the ebay ones..... and mine are the same than DX ones.
Also the 14500 from DX are exactly the same as the 18650 DX ones.

Unless they have changed the desing of the label (I beleive that not changed), they are not the same.
It also seems as if the logo text isn't done with metallic color on the ebay ones, but that could just be the photo. Well, we'll see it when they arrive.
If they turn out to be fakes we should open a paypal dispute stating the product is fake (it's an option to chose). I think that's better than using the generic "product differs from description".
