Your pocket/keychain flashlight?

My keychain light was the Olight i3E till I found this forum and now I am carrying the Lumintop EDC01 on my keys.
I also have a Lumintop Tool but so far I prefer the 01 for the keychain.

It really is amazing how powerful some of these small lights can be.

Reylight Pineapple

  • Is it a AA or AAA or lion? 14500 Li-Ion
  • Why’d you choose that one? I like the styling a lot and I love brass
  • How long have you been carrying it? Only a few weeks. Prior to this it was a Olight S1R
  • How often do you use it? Every day
  • How’s it working for you? Great. Love it
  • How’s the wear-n-tear on the finish? Beautiful. The brass is starting to patina nicely
  • Do you carry more than one? I only carry a single light in my pocket but usually have a more powerful light in the backpack I carry every day

Any hint on the flashlight?

I am perhaps beeing a bit paranoid but do all the people here sharing their keys pictures on open forum know that many key types can be copied from a simple picture ?

Ok "not my real name", "they don't have my adress", or even " i don't fear anyone", ..., name your own but i prefer to make sure everyone is doing it knowingly ;-)

My only keychains light for maybe 10 years and up to now are cheap chinese 2*CR2016 Photon micro-light rip off, i always have one in my pocket plus one on each key set.

Considering to replace them with some AAA.

But 99% time i have something else (used to be Fenix LD10 or LD20, now i am more on the S2 like side) either in my coat and/or in my edc backpack

Always in my pocket is a copper Maratac AAA with 4000K 80CRI XP-L2, Mtn FET driver and Efest 10440 battery. 30 hours of 3.5 lumen, or 700 for 6 minutes.

Thrunite Ti3 (G2 NW) head on Lumintop Tool AAA body

  • Is it a AA or AAA or lion?
    AAA NiMH
  • Why’d you choose that one?
super lightweight, standard battery, sublumen moonlight, enough light
  • How long have you been carrying it?
2 years Ti3, body swap improvement is quite recent
  • How often do you use it?
on average, 2-3 times a month. It’s edc emergency light. If I know I will need some light, I will pack something 1x or 2x 18650 size flashlight (emisar D4 or nitecore srt9)
  • How’s it working for you?
    superb
  • How’s the wear-n-tear on the finish?
not that pretty, I’d definitely prefer titanium version, but it’s no longer manufactured
  • Do you carry more than one?
no, I rarely need light and usually it’s for comfort than real need, so no issues if it’d fail. I carry spare 1AAA NiMH

I still look for something that would replace it (titanium, AA/AAA both NiMH and Lion capable with sublumen moonlight when running on Lion, lightweight), but did not find anything better than what I already have.

RovyVon A1

Is it a AA or AAA or lion? Li-Ion of some unknown size.

Why’d you choose that one? Wicked small and plenty bright.

How long have you been carrying it? 6 months or so I think.

How often do you use it? Few times a week.

How’s it working for you? Works fine. Super light weight. Don’t even know it’s there.

How’s the wear-n-tear on the finish? It’s some kind of space age NASA plastic or something. Holds up well.

Do you carry more than one? I rotate quite a few other lights clipped on my pocket. D4, 18350 S1, Skillhunt M200, Zebralight SC52w, Ultratac A1, Enogear SS AA, Reylight Pineapple, Armytek Partner C1, Jetbeam E20R and Jet IIMK, Olight M18 or S1Acu.

Always looking to add something new to the mix. I really want one of those Reylight Mokumes, I think it is. Might be wrong on the name. Very cool looking light.

I work in Health IT so I carry a backpack with my laptop and all my needed toys…er… tools!
In my backpack I carry a Thrunite TN4A with Eneloop Pro AA batteries. There is probably a Streamlight Polytac in there as well with CR123’s.

My pocket EDC flashlight depends on mood and what I happen to pickup that day.

Today it’s a grey Emisar D4 4500K XPL HI (two 4k emitters and two 5k emitters). Using the stock 18650 tube with a VTC5A.

What kind of pry bar is on your keychain?

And he. YUKKKKKkkk. Drives a Toyota thingy……

That dual screwdriver tip item on ring is neat.

You are probably looking at the USB drive?

Comes in handy just like the flashlight when youre already crammed under a desk and need to remove a PCI card or similar.

Not sure I get the Toyota hate?

Some of the most reliable and best value-for-money vehicles are Toyotas (if you believe Consumer Reports.)

I’ve been leasing Toyota Corollas since 2009 . Never once had a problem with any of them. I used to be into fast cars when I was younger. Now I’m into cars that don’t break. I know I can get from point A to point B without getting stuck on the side of the road.

Our family owns a somewhat older Corolla.

It is very reliable, but if we were to get into a serious wreck, the car wouldn't suffer much damage, but the occupants would.

Other than that, it's a very nice car for the money.
