Your most Fun light and why?

My most fun lights are my UV lights, purple ’501B with UV emitter, and UV version of the S2+ with ZWB2, originally generic black out of the tin but now purple as well.

Sometimes I don’t even wanna know why certain things are fluorescing…

Multitudes of lights from my L2/L6. down to a coupla $2.50 Pen Torches.
Most handled?. My Astrolux AO1 on keyring in shorts pocket
and my BLF 348.

Emitters emmissions etc.!!!

My BLF GT70

And Haikelite MT03 TA

Do I really need to answer the question why?

FW3a. Already two years of fun without paying a buck.

i found a little bit of fun by navigating in the dark with the shittiest flashlight with the lowest brightness, so i purposely purchased a few dollar store old tech plastic flashlights for such purpose and right now been using a lot on this 1 lumen penlight by Camelion

 Hahaaa! :+1:

D4 and SC26, then Q8. SP33 soon. Amutorch X9 soon also.I like bright lights in the 2-3000 lumen range.

My scratch made Ti/Cu 18500 Quad with Samsung LH351D 80 CRI 5000K emitters, probably the most fun because it’s the one I always have on me… it impresses a lot of folks and is ultra useful…

I do have to say though, I’m really enjoying playing with the newest monster creation, the Q8 458 Ham’r.

My Cometa; I like the way it sounds when I take it apart; I like the way it fits my hand; it’s a gadget freaks dream. :face_with_monocle:

Just a suggestion ..... that's a light you could sell right here on BLF, it's beautiful and could be a real special production light.

Sunwayman F30r…
It’s Role Player/problem solver.
(Selfbuilt explained it well in his review)
Shorter than a D4 (unless you use the excellent diffuser for lantern use.)
Throws extremely well with a smooth & deep reflector, which does a great job of controlling XML-2 tint shift, making it look much like HiCri.
I like pretty colors, especially actinic, the blue is a great bedroom light.
My F40a has a better sub-lumen, but is heavier, and unavailable.

My Photon Freedom Micro(s), of course

  • Click to on, click to off
  • But wait, if you keep clicking, you get Morse code/signalling mode!
  • Want dimmer light? It’s continuously dimmable.
  • Use it as a beacon for your keychain? 3 flashing modes and 1 SOS
  • Want a longer lasting beacon? It has a secret 50% mode!
  • It has a store demo mode (shut off after 30 seconds) that can be reactivated, to prevent battery drain
  • The switch is an actual separate input. It doesn’t just connect and disconnect the battery, like all twisty lights.
  • Comes in all the colors of the rainbow - including UV and IR
  • Water resistant, made in USA, lifetime warranty, comes with necklace and positionable clip etc.

My most fun torch is definitely the Convoy M1. It’s 7A warm white, so it pleases the little retro buff in my brain; the “P60 host” format tickles the retro’s mall ninja neighbor just the right way; and finally, it has Biscotti, so I can fiddle with all the mode groups and find different applications based on how each one works – perfect when boredom strikes in and you’re sick and tired of looking at a screen for entertainment.

Wuben T70 - 4000 med-floody lumens

==that is an awesome UI, I have a photon - why can;t any big lights just use that UI and BDWI (be done with it)?

This reminds me of the pictures someone on BLF posted several years ago. He used a UV light to light up his backyard and 100 scorpions lit up in the picture.

He then went around with some thick gloves and put them all into a bucket.

Did he proceed to feed his chickens with the bucket’s contents?

The new Osram “white flat” adds a lot of fun in flashlights that I used to call “throwers”… NOW they throw !
B158B :

(okay, this one is a black flat…) M3XS :

You get it, throwers are my new passion ! The aspherics are true lightsaber, and now that night is there as early as 5pm I have plenty of time (and excuses) to play with them ! Oh, sorry I have to check the chicken, better take a few lights with me

Lucky you, X3, in this half of the egg it’s taking until well past 7 for the sun to be gone completely. With my current work routine, that doesn’t leave me with even 2 hours before I have to settle in bed. The slight flipside of it taking longer for sunrise is negated by my mega agitated pre-job morning schedule :confounded:

As such, I request more lightsaber photos to live vicariously through this cursed summer! Pretty please
