The blue and pink aux-leds look way too disco to me, the E07 is an elegant light, IMO it would suit faint single-colour aux-leds best, my favorite would be 650nm deep red
I second that.
Wow!
I love the looks of the grey one. It looks like it means business for sure. They all look great and Fireflies really nailed the job of making it stand out in the looks department.
I really want to see some pics or clips of it in action. Alongside a D4S would be really helpful.
It’s a good time to be interested in flashlights!
I personally realllllly like the color choices, on the rare occasions I build a lighted switch I use the blue and hot pink combination.
These look awesome and have an epicness about them straight away. Nicely done!
Edit: Given a choice of these 3 colors for the body, the grey one does it for me.
E07 comes the final products, 3 colors option
And these will be ready to purchase, when?
Now!
I’m just waiting for a coupon now.
Yeah yeah, I was about to order when I realized I have yet to receive ANY information on the PL47 I ordered over a week ago. Nada zip zilch. So, eggs and one basket being considered… waiting.
Edit: Actually, PayPal transaction was completed on Nov 10, 2018… nearing 3 weeks ago. Never got any kind of order confirmation or anything.
Huh strange.
I receive my shipping notification a while back.
I think Fireflies got a bit overwhelmed with the popularity of the light, and is building them in batches.
Can it be ordered without any glue?
Is there any way to update the firmware if we have the tools? Pins on the driver or a way to remove the driver to flash it? (I guess the aux board would have to be de-soldered too)
Also interested in a coupon and expected ship time
Yeah, definitely
Anyone have the output for each?
7x Nichia 219B R9080 CRI98
7x SST20 4000K NW CRI95
7x SST20 5000K NW
7x SST20 6500K CW CRI66
7x CREE XPL HI V3 CW 6500K Max 6900 lm
7x CREE XPL HI V2 NW 5000K
Interested in ordering the gray one what would be better SST 20 5000k or XPL HI 5000k? Why would you choose one over the other one?
Would love to see a picture comparing it to the Emisar D4S
The light looks great. Nice color options.
FF also added 219B to the list of emitter options which wasn’t there before.
Very tempting…
Limited edition run using a buck/boost driver for ultimate efficiency?

Kinda reminds me of titanium!
Love the new pink (purpleish) aux LEDs. FF thanks for listening! You will get more than one order from me for this one again! The new gray color option looks great too. However, I would still really love to see a clear anodized version. Is clear anodizing that hard to do? Your entire customer base has been expressing their preference for a silver version.
Also are there compatible optics with bigger TIR cups. Seems so waste of space. Perhaps if you point out compatible TIR optics, we can buy them and swap it in ourselves for those who want throw.
The perimeter TIR’s don’t look like they can be enlarged much, but if the center TIR was enlarged to be throwy, it would be a sweet combo of throw and flood.
+1 from me for a larger throwy center TIR.
+1 for interchangeable TIR options
+1 for ability to open up the front bezel and access TIR/and LED/MCPCB
To do the silver anodizing would only require NOT dipping it in the color dye bath after the ano is done. Actually EASIER as it requires that one less step. That’s all. So, there is a line of lights going from ano tank to color dye tank then to the seal tank. Simply skip one step.
There is approx 0% chance you will ever find another optic to fit. The DQG Tiny 26650 is around the same size but clearly has different legs. Not really room to increase the TIR without making the head closer to 39-40mm, at least for brand name optics.

The FW3A was designed like this from the ground up and apparently they just updated that thread saying they scrapped it (clear ano) cause they couldn’t get it right. It’s now dark gray only. Either it’s harder than it sounds or these companies just refuse to buck the trend.
