I believe I read that some of these have different ‘ramping speeds’ ? Too slow is no good. Does anyone know which one, which color, or version ramps faster? Or do I need to wait until more people receive their lights? Thanks.

By silver/gold all seem to have the same speed, like 5sec or so. My original black was closer to 8sec, I think. (Or was that a v1?)

I still prefer stepped modes, so leave ’em locked on that. Moonlight to turbo in a few fast clicks…

I can verify my three Black SP32 V2.0’s all have ramping between 4.5 & 5.0 seconds…. from Min to Max or Max to Min.

One was bought a while back & two more ‘kits’ just arrived from the ‘Group Buy’.

My Gold lights should be here in a few days. I’ll check them, but I expect the ’ramp time’ will be in line with Lightbringers Gold ones & my Black ones.

I had sent a PM to Sofirn a couple of days ago asking if I had been missed when the codes were sent, since a couple of other people had apparently received theirs already. Turns out he issued some codes before he left for 4 days, and is getting back to issuing them now. The 1st code he sent me yesterday didn’t work, but after PMing him again, he sent another code this morning and this time it worked perfectly. I won’t mention the price, but it is a decent discount imo, and worth it for me.

Thanks for asking. If I remember correctly, they both has low mode about 4-5LM, 40-50LM.

I think what is meant is:

In groups mode, the Low mode in SP32A v1 and v2 are probably around the same 4-5 lumens.

However, in rampingmode, the lowest brightness level for SP32A v1 is lower — maybe 1-2 lumens only, whereas the lowest level for SP32A v2.0 in ramping mode is around 4-5 lumens.

We would like to have a 1-2 lumens lowest brightness mode.

Just got my ‘gold’ version … nothing gold about it - more a light bronze, but a very nice finish.

This fugly beam has more rings than Zales jewelers !

By far the worst reflector of all 8 of my Sofirn torches.

Aside from the reflector . … these lights are of high quality, and for the price? Who should complain (but me duh)
