WTS: Calibration lights for DIY integrating spheres / lumen tubes - 67 € -

Ok, thanks. When you put it in from the side is the flashlight butting up against the added diffuser or a piece of glass to make the insertion depth the same each time? Or does that even matter?

Exactly, the bright end of the light is a couple millimeters inside the sphere pushed against the diffuser. The insertion depth doesn’t really matter as long as it’s not outside the sphere and the depth is the same as when I measure the absorption effect of the light itself with an auxiliary light. The consistency is useful though when measuring several similar lights as I don’t have to measure the absorption for all of them.

Hi Maukka, I am interested in getting your calibration set… 3 of us here in Texas with boxes built from the same source have been talking and we’d like to test our boxes with the same two lights, so we will compare our P-Trap light boxes and see where we all stand based on a single set of calibration lights.

Please inform…

Sure, I’ve got two sets ready to go immediately. Will PM you the details.

I’m interested in purchasing one, and sent a PM asking for the paypal details. Thanks.

Maukka has sent these calibration lights my way, 3 of us will be testing with them here in Texas soon, will report…

Hi Maukka. Do you have any left to sell?

I’ve got one.

Thanks. Payment sent.

Hi Maukka! Will you make more of these calibration lights? I consider buying a pair early next year.

I have some lights left, but haven’t measured them yet.

Maukka, I would like to send some Jetusolis to you to get some calibration readings. Optisolis makes for a better calibration light. How much would you charge for that? Thanks.

15 euros per light + 7.50 euros for shipping.

Do you already have those lights from Clemence?

He will ship it for me. Will PM me.

Would probably make more sense for him to ship them straight to me. He’s already sending some over to me anyways.

I meant he will ship them directly to you

If anyone else is interested in the Optisolis/E21A powered Jetbeams Clemence with calibration data, let me know. No schedule is set yet so be patient.

Disclaimer: I’m not sure these will make for a better calibration if you mostly want to test low CRI lights with lux meters, but the smooth spectrum of the Optisolis would be a great reference for future.

Just like with the S2+ and BLF348 or any other light, price for measurement is 15 euros per light plus intl shipping (4.70 or 7.50 euros depending on weight). Does not include the price of the light itself.

Interest list:

  1. SKV89

Three more original calibration sets (BLF348 & S2+) ready to go immediately.

Two torches arrived today thank you very much maukka. Now to find time to play.

Great, that was quite a bit faster than I expected to Australia :+1:
