Yes, I ordered during 1st 300 batch (10-Nov) and they got here yesterday (3-Dec), less than 4-weeks which is above average from my previous experiences. It might have helped that I ordered several other Sofirn items at the same time
Not that it practically matters because both tints are hi-cri and serving their purpose as low-level illumination but the 5600 looks to be slightly narrower than the 3200.
Oboy. Hovering over the Track button, two lights have reached some USPS sorting system in San Francisco.
And they didnât even get their feet wet. Aliâs Order info still thinks theyâre in transit in the country of origin.
Theyâll get here. The mail carrier is getting used to bolting out the front door as he reaches the mailbox.
The C01 black version is currently available in the Sofirn store at AliExpress. The link to the order page is mentioned in the opening post. Right under it is the link to the post with the visual instructions on how to get the BLF price reduction. Basically it works by explicitly asking Sofirn in the order page comments field to give you the special BLF discount by mentioning your BLF user name. Do not pay, before the price is lowered by Sofirn.
The most important point for getting the discount is patience. Sometimes it takes a while before Sofirn adjusts the price, as this is not an automated process, but involves humans.
We do not know if Sofirn actually checks the interest list in this thread, or if posting a message in this thread in which you state your interest in the C01 is OK as well. Periodically, iamlucky13 does his best to update the C01 interest list, however this also involves human volunteer work, so it can take some time.
Some forum members also bought the light directly, without jumping through hoops in order to get the discount, because they thought the price without discount was good enough as-is.
Finally, in the near future there will also be a red and blue anodized C01, but Sofirn has not given a specific launch date for these colored versions.
 Mine, ordered Nov 10, still say theyâre in China on AE. OTOH, if I paste the tracking number into google, and track via USPS, it says itâs in a neighboring state, and that it left China 11/24, arrived in US 12/5. So⌠
How long should I wait before opening a dispute? It has been 26 days and every tracking site shows for the last update as still being in China as of Nov. 26.
Iâve been âpatienceâ, but seeing other people in the States who ordered their lights after me gtting their lights already is making me wary.
Mine look the same way. I look at the LED and think also that Iâm picking the 3200, but the 5600 is the warmer looking one. I was confused for a minute when first playing with them last night.
21.11.2018 22.00 order made
22.11.2018 03.00 price adjusted and paid shortly after
22.11.2018 12.00 âshippedâ
24.11.2018 22.00 actually shipped
06.12.2018 18.00 arrived in Finland
Iâd expect the parcel to be available for pickup at my local post office next Monday or Tuesday unless the customs decides to take a look at it.
If you really want the lights, just relax & give it time. Youâll get the lights sooner or later. Iâm in the same boat you are, but I have every confidence they will get here sooner or later.
My experience with AliExpress is always the âlaterâ part of âsooner or laterâ by the way.
Thatâs just how it is.
Especially coming on the heels of the big 11/11 sale, the China-US transportation is likely overburdened right now and running a bit slower than usual.
