Should be no problem. Along with the LH351D bin confirmation email that I’ve now sent to Digikey, I’ve sent Mouser some info about the chromacity bin sold on their site.
Also, I’ve done some calculations, and due to the slightly thicker silver coating compare to nickel provided by the manufacturer(20um), a dual spring array should be able to handle 22A without problems compared to 20A+ of the dual nickel plated springs. So, nice improvement for a bit more money
@skinny_tie, I’m not too sure about that. It depends if the LH351Ds that I requested in the T2/T4 bin are accepted for the custom bulk order of the FW3A by the email I sent to Digikey to confirm it just in case.
From the info I have now, the tint bins that are available are T2/T4, but only for a custom bulk order as specified before. What I want to know if we can get the chromacity bin T2/T4 in a smaller 800pcs order.
If the FW3A does get the necessary order bin F2T2Q6/F2T4Q6(Q6 only for reference of Luminous Flux bin), then we might have a shot of getting an excellent tinted LH351D.
To answer your questions though, it depends on the weight of your total package/value.
LEDs are quite a bit more expensive per unit compared to the springs.
So if you order A LOT of LEDs and springs, I’ll have to send it via a packet, which will be a bit more expensive(price to be determined internationally).
Blue could you add 10 more small springs to my order. I find myself using more of them than the bigger springs.
So total order 20 big 30 small.
I’ll probably take 10 LH351D’s if we end up with a good rosy tint.
