[♛ FreemeGB] Fireflies PL47 Gen II 4*XP-L/ Nichia/ SST20 Hi CRI 21700 Right Angle Flashlight - ENDED

Cool idea! It holds well enough that it’s not aging to accidentally pop out?

pretty solid to be honest and due it’s orientation will be fairly hard to knock it too….

Well done!

Put them in the freezer and use them as ice cubes that dont melt and dilute your drink.

So, guys and gals, I have not received the light yet.

Do you think I should go for a refund, or not? I’ll be getting my PL47 from Neal if I have to with Express shipping.

I thought so but it doesn’t make sense as I’d be challange to find metal with less heat capacity, right? Sure it looks cool but doesn’t really work, does it?

Did you receive shipped notification from FF yet?

I haven’t gotten mine either. I am sure the Canada Post strike has delayed it.

@freeme and PAvlo, yeah it got shipped a while ago. That’s what happened. Got delayed by probably 3 months by the Canada Post strike.

I wanted to pay for faster shipping, but there were no ways to pay for it on the Fireflies website.

If everything goes according to plan, i should get mine by next week. I have already feedback to FF regarding their shipping process.

Mine will probably be this week. Version SST20 4000K. As soon as I have it in my hands, I will describe it and make measurements.

Cools the whisky without watering it down. Regular ice cubes melt and water down your drink. But, mostly, it just looks cool

If god wanted whisky to be drunk cold he would make it this way

Mine landed in the States this weekend and is expected to arrive this Wednesday. That will be just 2 weeks from shipping notice. Not bad.

I took that to mean he likes his Whiskey neat, which is simply a straight pour of Whiskey. If he said on the rocks then I could see the dice. That’s kinda a turn off to put metal into your drink. Not something I care to try. Just get Reusable ice cubes, they won’t dilute your drink. Made from food grade HDPE and purified water. I can’t imagine metal dice work better as ice cubes, if you prefer a less tinny taste.

I got the shipping notice Nov 18 and mine is apparently still on a boat somewhere out at sea.

Do you put the tracking number that was sent to you into the USPS tracking search engine.

It eventually showed up there.

It’s been about 2 weeks (11/27) since my tracking notice and all I see on www.17track.net is:

That’s how I know it’s still out at sea somewhere- “Nov 18- Picked up by shipping partner, USPS awaiting item”

Yep, I wouldn’t be surprised if yours is here by the end of the week. :+1:
