Second Generation Silver Plated High Current Beryllium Copper Springs and 95+CRI SST20!

If we end up with a good rosy tint add 30 LH351D’s to my order

All added to the list.

I also sent an email to Mouser to see if we can get a J5401 bin kit, with a chromacity bin of FA1-FA4-FD1-FD4, which would all be below the BBL.

I really hope we can get these tints.

10 large springs
40 small springs
10 LH351D 4000K
15 SST-20 4000K
5 SST-20 3500K

Thanks!

20 Large
20 Small
15 SST-20 4000K
5 SST-20 3500K
5 SST-20 3000K
20 LH351D 4000K
please

No problem. Added to the list.

Interested in:

5x SST-20 4000K
5x SST-20 3500K
2x SST-20 3000K
4x LH351D 4000K

Added again.

Large springs: 970
Small springs: 950
SST-20 4000k 95CRI: 190
SST-20 3500k: 100
SST-20 3000k: 50
LH351D 4000k: 119

Looks good, especially for the LEDs now.

ALSO, remember one thing. The quantity limit for large and small springs are 2000pcs each, so there are limited quantities available, for now

If there is enough demand, I will be doing something special

Large springs: 30
Small springs: 30
SST-20 4000k 95CRI: 20
SST-20 3500k 95CRI: 8
LH351D 4000-5000k: 20

I’ll take 25 of large and 25 of small

I’m interested in:

Large springs: 25
Small springs: 25
SST-20 4000k 95CRI: 10
SST-20 3500k: 5
LH351D 4000k: 5

Thanks!

Added.

Got a message back from Digikey again.

Great for the FW3A groupbuy, but not too great for us, but still good.

For individual samples(less than a reel), the tint bins are randomly available from T6, TA, T7 and TB. No wonder the LH351D from Bob Mc Bob looked so green.

For a 1x reel LH351D (like our groupbuy), the only tint bin confirmed and available is T6, so way better than the 2nd and 3rd batch of LH351Ds, so about as good as the 1st batch from AEDe, but still not the godly T2/T4 bin. Right on the BBL at 1A like the datasheet, but slightly above when tested below that with a Q8 reflector(pics below).

15A:

For 4x reels of LH351Ds, the tint bins are confirmed and available in the T4 and T6 bin, so the T4 bin is way below the BBL and close to 4100k-4000k according to the Digi-Key rep. That is very good.

Also, the Mouse rep confirmed that the tint bins available for the SST-20 3500k and 3000k are below the BBL.

Could not confirm it however for the 4000k because Mouser is strictly a commercial off the shelf distributor. We do not track the bin codes on LED’s so we are unable to quote or obtain certain bin codes.

Understandable, but slightly disappointing for the 4000k one.

I really wanted a confirmation of a throwier, super rosy, more efficient 219B.

The SST-20 does have a better beam the LH351D though because of the smaller die.

If they do not track the bin codes then how can he know their inventory is below BBL? Doesn’t even make sense.

That’s the problem for the SST-20 4000k. That’s not the full message sorry.

We were able to obtain order samples for a very large customer in LED lighting from the 3500k and 3000k chromacity bins kits. However, since we do not have any of the 4000k Luminus SST-20 SST-20-W40H-A120-J5401 you requested, we are unable to quote a certain bin code, as Mouser is strictly a commercial off the shelf distributor. We do not track the bin codes on LED’s so we are unable to quote or obtain certain bin codes.

They’re basically saying that since they don’t have any of the 4000k SST-20s in stock that we want, they can’t tell us anything.

It initially didn’t make sense, but now it does.

Please add 15x LH351D to my order.
Thank you

The T6 and T7 bin were above the BBL. Without reflector or optics, they look decent, but once put in an optic, it turns green. How much is a reel? You don’t think we can reach the numbers? Maybe if we split the order with Richard, Intl_Outdoor, Kaidomain?

@SKV89, the T6 bin is the one showed in the pictures in a Q8 reflector. It looks marvelous compared to the 2nd batch LH351Ds from AEDe which were a higher TA tint bin if I remember well, and looked not good in a reflector.

And if I buy a full reel, it’s going to cost about 1320$CA at minimum without taxes.

So yeah, not going to take the risk until I find a source of confirmed T1-T4 tint bins without having to buy over 3000 emitters.

Oh I misread. I thought we can choose the T1-T4 tint bin if we buy a full reel. If that’s the case, I’m not interested in the LH351D.

The tint in your photos look even rosier than the 219B 9080. I bought the Meteor M43 with the first batch of LH351D in this test. Here are the test results showing a duv of 0.0024. Not sure how accurate that is because it looks even higher in person compared to my other lights. It looks very green compared side by side with the stock XP-L HI 5D and even greener next to the XP-G2 5D. So green, that I’m planning to discard these emitters and put in a rosier one from this GB.
