@SKV89, and,one thing is confirmed about the SST-20s:
the 3500k and 3000k variants should be under the BBL line as far as chromacity tints though. So no green in the beam, not as rosy as the 219B. Just pure warm white.
Also, depending on the result of this BeCu spring groupbuy, I’ll contact guys like Richard and Neal so you guys and gals can get these springs all year long, internationally :). Hopefully of course.
Thanks BlueSword. But for SST-20, it needs to be two bins below the BBL because even one bin below the BBL like the Fireflies FA3 bin is said to still be a bit greenish.
Should be no problem. Along with the LH351D bin confirmation email that I’ve now sent to Digikey, I’ve sent Mouser some info about the chromacity bin sold on their site.
Also, I’ve done some calculations, and due to the slightly thicker silver coating compare to nickel provided by the manufacturer(20um+), a dual spring array should be able to handle 22A+ without problems compared to 20A+ of the dual nickel plated springs. So, nice improvement for a bit more money
@skinny_tie, I’m not too sure about that. It depends if the LH351Ds that I requested in the T2/T4 bin are accepted for the custom bulk order of the FW3A by the email I sent to Digikey to confirm it just in case.
From the info I have now, the tint bins that are available are T2/T4, but only for a custom bulk order as specified before. What I want to know if we can get the chromacity bin T2/T4 in a smaller 800pcs order.
If the FW3A does get the necessary order bin F2T2Q6/F2T4Q6, then we might have a shot of getting an excellent tinted LH351D.
To answer your questions though, it depends on the weight of your total package/value.
LEDs are quite a bit more expensive per unit compared to the springs.
So if you order A LOT of LEDs and springs, I’ll have to send it via a packet, which will be a bit more expensive(price to be determined internationally).
Blue could you add 10 more small springs to my order. I find myself using more of them than the bigger springs.
So total order 20 big 30 small.
I’ll probably take 10 LH351D’s if we end up with a good rosy tint.

30 large 30 small. Thanks again
BlueSwordM please put me down for 30 small and 30 large springs.
I’m not sure about the LEDs yet. Are you planning to ship them with the springs or separately?
also 10pcs 351D t2 /t4
I have some springs left, but I’d be interested in 15 4k SST-20 and 15 LH351D.

If we end up with a good rosy tint add 30 LH351D’s to my order
All added to the list.
I also sent an email to Mouser to see if we can get a J5401 bin kit, with a chromacity bin of FA1-FA4-FD1-FD4, which would all be below the BBL.
I really hope we can get these tints.
