I butchered my charger for 21700 so I didnt have to buy a new one

Nice

What do you mean you “dremeled the housing on one slot” of your Folomov A4? In what way does a 21700 not normally fit? I was thinking of buying the A4 charger because it supports LiFePO4. If anybody knows, please tell me what other decently priced 4-cell charger could I get that supports Ni-Cd, NiMh, LiFePO4, and Li-Ion cells and has 2A charge rate or better? If there isn’t one, I guess I’ll still buy the A4 and apply the Dremel treatment to it as well.

I had a sofirn battery…a.bit tight. Also just got a …48e? 5000mah
Also quite tight.
The sofrin wrapper got torn popping in and out…

So I cut away the plastic where the negative end would ‘sit’.
Now there is a hole and the slide can go back enough for the cell to pop in and out .

Thanks!

Not the best pics, but you get the idea…the two of the charger…I have a drum sander bit, I’ll probably use that to make it look better, tomorrow

Thanks again. I see what you mean now.

I guess your charger doesn’t fit 26650’s

Me? Don’t have any, by I don’t see why not.
650 is the length.
The 700 part was the problem

Just for fun facts. The XTAR Ant MC1 Plus will charge up to 72mm batteries and cost less than $5.00.

@DavidEF the SkyRC MC3000 should do what you want but it's somewhat expensive

That’s awesome ! But since I already HAVE a charger ………

HeHe… “somewhat expensive” he says… HeHe… good one! :open_mouth:

For bigger cells, I just throw a Folomov A1 at it (magnetic-stickies) so I don’t have to buther any chargers at all. :smiling_imp:

Again, more cost, more things laying around

Naw. I got a few A1s, and keep one in my bag for “emergency” charging (even though my MH20 has a usb port).

Fits everything, small, handy. What’s not to love?

What he’s saying is that he already had the charger that he buthered, so no need to buy anything at all. True “budget” option.

See…budget :+1:

dear friend, this is my first time use this. Not clear all the operation.

I think you can check Eizfan LUX S4 charger. This one can charge Lifepo4, LI-ion battery, AA battery …

4 slots support 2A charging. Test the capacity and resistance. Touch screen design. You can check details here.

This product is no longer available..

Thank you Julie from Efan. That does look like a nice charger. It is a bit too pricey for me.

@DavidEF, I’ve seen that charger before, and having asked Julie, I came to the conclusion that it’s like an even more advanced self contained MC3000.

So that is why it is quite expensive
