very nice flashlight!

glad i could help :)

Hi Martin.

Yes, always a pleasure doing business with you and your friends.
No name mentioned but you can all guess. :+1:

While the weight would be raised very much, due to the density increase, from 2.7 of aluminum,to 10.5 of silver…

@Theodore, I was speaking between copper/silver.

Yes of course. But even then, there is more weight with silver,as copper density is 8.96.

Beautiful light, fit for 007…

The Man With the Golden Haike… lol

Looks really sweet. I wish they can do a copper version.

It is out there on AliExpress, Haikelite Store.

It was also available on BG:

Nice. I might have to pick up one. Just because of color.

Anyone has bought it? Care to take more pictures on internal parts? I wonder is there aluminum parts internally except the reflector.

isnt brass a very bad heat conductor for a light this much lumens ?

If it is red brass, its thermal conductivity is as good as or very close to aluminum alloy.
Yellow brass is not as good, but it is not really bad.
Can’t tell Haikelite is using which type of brass.

Pictures shown in this thread are more reddish which looks more likely red brass, but pictures shown on aliexpress are very yellow.

ahh yes but its gold, chines gold …

A (ballpark) comparison of heat conductivity is:

(Yellow) Brass - Aluminum - Copper = 1 - 2 - 3 (translation: copper is >3x better conductor than brass)

EDIT:
Typically red brass consists of at least 85 percent copper.
Yellow brass typically has 60 percent or less copper makeup.

That’s a very pretty light but when I bought my MT03 pop can the first thing that came to my mind wasn’t, now that this thing just fits in my jacket pocket how can I make it 4x heavier so it weighs more than my DX80.

Love the look as a shelf queen but anything larger than an edc made out of lead-like material isn’t something I’d ever invest in.

That said, she sure is pretty though!
