Hot sauce recommendations

I love the way it’s Hypoallergenic——after eating STB does it really matter—-might need ice cream instead

Must try some, just based on the review.

The issue is the sequel. The encore. The second coming. Now, admittedly, I had a lot of this salsa in a short amount of time, but basically you can go to the legendary sugar free gummy bear reviews on this site and add in horrendous burning pain like passing a napalm coated cactus, and that would summarize my afternoon after eating this salsa.

I need some help. Where can I buy some really hot chilli sauce? I am looking for a reliable store or a seller that ships to Slovakia and accepts paypal payment. Thank you for your help!

Tabasco Habanero is my favorite

if you really like heat these are all great and will bring sweat to your face and tears to your eyes.

heatsupply.nl will ship to Slovakia(18 euros tho)
I order all my hot stuff there and they’re great.

Even a lame non-cook like me can avoid industrialized, chemical laden concoctions. Commercial Hot sauces around NE Brazil are normally watery cayenne compositions, or expensive imported Tabasco variations. They heat up the back of the mouth, throat and rest of the digestive tract.
Anybody who is into good flavor buys ‘pimenta do cheiro’ (smell/taste peppers). Flavorful and seemingly too hot at first, the front of your mouth, tongue, and nose get the hit, instead of your guts.
I never feel discomfort down below.
You can buy flashlights and hot sauce at Wally World if that’s your taste, but a flashaholic forum has talent for experimenting.
Vinegar and salt give peppers long life, customizing is helped by garlic, sugar, spices and seasonings. Vinegar alone (apple or rice) is all you really need, cooked or not, you can mod to your taste with tomato puree, sauce, or extract if you prefer.
Some peppers are bland (bikini, bird peppers, dedo da moça), you can add scorchers or tame with sugar, vinegar, even dairy.
Every sauce can be a new experiment, like modding flashlights.
With the variety of fresh peppers now available at supermarkets in the USA……just use gloves, clean your skin with oil afterwards, and keep your fingers away from mucous membranes.

Tjohn, if you have access to a juicer, your experience with fresh fruits and vegetables, even peppers, can be much improved. I made a hot sauce before with fresh made pepper juice, and the taste is unlike anything you can find. I had bought the juicer just for that, and it was well worth it. But my juicer isn’t working now. I need to get it fixed.

Thanks DavidEF…
Started using a blender a couple of weeks ago to add tomato puree, but hadn’t thought about fruit. It’s Mango season now, the trees are loaded around here, the fruit so abundant it is going to waste. Giant pineapples are 50cents, picked one up this morning, it’s destiny is certain……gonna get added to a batch of sizzle sauce already in the fridge. Chutney is great!

Yep it’s my go to! I tend to blend Ms Renfro with some chi-chis hot salsa. Mellow it out a tad.

Not sure you can buy this outside of Oz but loving this at the moment

Not overly potent but smells and tastes great

It's a cold smoked Jalapeno sauce

If you're in OZ, try it

That definitely sounds interesting! I’ve wanted to try making something like that myself, but haven’t gotten into making hot sauces.

I do cold smoke jalapeno peppers, then dehydrate and grind into powder and mix with salt. It’s delicious, with a unique flavor and just a bit of heat. I’ve eaten it on just about everything, including popcorn and potato chips.

I’ve been saving Cholula bottles though; when I get enough, I want to try making a batch of a smoky fire-roasted jalapeno hot sauce.

Not a sauce and really not in to hot myself…but tI ry to incorporate a few of these chips as often as I remember in to my diet to boost metabolism (if this itself isn’t an old wive’s tale):
Often $2 on clearance (date is always good) and makes a tasty base for pickling other items after the chips are gone: Robot or human?

Neighbor also loves them gifted for his famous bloody marys…

There is no Buffalo wings without Franks .

I buy the spears...

and love 'em!

This thread is gold, thanks for sharing all the bits on sauces.

On it, boss. Thank you!

No worries mate….you’ll love it I’m sure

Because I put hot sauce on so much of my food, my sister bought me...

Jack Link's Valentine's Day Hot Sauce Set!

(She got it the day after Valentine's Day for half off.)

So now I have a bunch of new hot sauce to try!

I’ve always appreciated a savory heat sauce . I’m close to the Smoky mountains, amd in Gatlinburg TN there is a store called Pepper Palace that specializes in hot sauce. My Dad collects full bottles (WTH, Dad?).

My go-to is a proprietary sauce from a restaurant called The Egg and I. Their house sauce can be bought for $7ish dollars. The ingredients are roasted red jalapenos and vinegar. That’s all! It is delicious on everything except Cheerios.

As a similar function, I add Tony Chachere’s Creole seasoning to most foods, too. It is added in proportion to salt and pepper.

Once upon a time, on a day trip to Gatlinburg, my Dad ecouraged me to man-up and try the sauce marked XXX under a glass cover at Pepper Palace. It burned for over 3 hours and burned my then-GF’s lips when I kissed her a couple hours later. Dunno what brand that insane sauce was, but I learned that my Dad enjoys my misery a little lol.
