I have the 700 2 mode version and it is powerful. Throws further than my TK35! I just ordered the XML U2 VERSION with over 750 lumens and I cant wait to test it against my TK41. I believe it is one of the best lights out there in terms of throw and brightness. Better also than my Keygos KE5 and UF 980L.
I was torn between these and a few others, the Romisen is almost certainly brighter with reported draw currents over 3amps but otherwise the XinTD has it easily beat. Better tint, almost invisible PWM, better range of output, better runtime, better heat management I'd guess.... Prob more! Does the Rom tail stand?
I don't have any U2 XM-L's yet. For that price I would have grabbed that Romisen, but I was hoping it would have been available in a NW tint. I'll keep it on the list for now.
I've ordered the new Romisen model from Shiningbeam (already shipped!). The only cells I have are 18650 TF Protected 2400, which I've had for a couple of years and I'm fairly sure they aren't fakes. Is it worth going for a different cell - lots of good reviews on here for Panasonic and XTAR - recommendations welcomed.
Just got the Romisen RC-T602, definitely the brightest light I have. Makes my Klarus XT11 look like it’s run on AA. Mine has five modes and rated at 1000 lumens. Still runs on one 18650.
Wow, but how does it throw? And is the beam profile significantly different than standard C8s? Do you have the T601? How does it fair against that? Also, what about the 980L, Trustfire X8, or TK35? I'm told the T601 can smoke them.
Had a bad experience with the romisen RC-T601 U2. Got one with a way off centre LED, almost touches the reflector. Asked the seller for a replacement
and he told me “it’s a budget light what do you expect, return it and take the refund to buy something better” lol Great way to stand behind your product Shiningbeam.
Only just saw this mate, I meant the XinTD. As ILF has pointed out that his friend owns both of these I’d see what he has to say, I only own the XinTD so maybe accused of biased but judging by info I believe what I said is correct
