Charger Wanted - Handles D Cells, provides some kind of recording output

Hello Battery Fans.

Looking for a charger to meet the following requirements and asking for suggestions…

1). Can handle 18650s, D-Cells, C-Cells, AA, AAA, NiMh, LiLo
2). Has “some” capability to save (or output) the results either to a Micro SD card etc, flash drive, or to a PC
3). Can run Discharge Tests
4). Up to at least 700mA per cell simultaneously
5). Can handle 4 cells simultaneously

Thanks

Sounds like you need a USB capable hobby charger and logview with some modified battery holders.

Indeed.
I’m hoping I can find one ready made that can do this (and more)

Maybe wishful hoping?

Gonna be hard to find one that does all—- Hobby chargers are good for 1 cell or multiple Lion — The only charger I have that handles D cells is a XTAR VC4—- it can do 1amp x 2 or .5 amp x 4 —gives mah input only—- OPUS and Litokala can handle testing but not recording data

I think the SkyRC Q200 charger can do all of that. You can monitor it via Bluetooth with your phone and app or connected to a PC. I believe you can save test results to your phone or PC for later comparison as well as graphs for all testing parameters.

I have an MC3000. And it “can” do two D-Cells, {and two 18650’s or two AA’s at one time}, but it’s not really designed to hold D Cells IMO.

The Q200 seems more of a Hobby (RC) charger for LiPos than anything else.

I’ve got several hobby chargers and was just really looking for a round cell charger at this point.

So far, the AccuPower IQ338LX is the only one that really accommodates D-Cells but it has Zero communication abilities.
Man, if they introduced a new IQ338LX upgraded model that could, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

Gotcha. Wasn’t quite sure how far you wanted to go. With the Q200 you would surely have to make holders for different cell sizes and do the wiring from banana clips to your cell holders. I see now you want a all in one that holds the cells like our well known chargers. Hmmmm…Id be interested in seeing what pops up as well. That was just the only one that came to mind. My buddy who is a RC nut has one of those Q200’s so that just rang a bell for me.

Cool.
Still….that Q200 is pretty nice. If I was willing to make my own D-Cell holders etc.
I especially like the Scan To Go feature.

It’s not out of the running. Just need to gather more info.

Thanks for the suggestion. Need to look into it more.
