What blade did you EDC today?

A Sanrenmu 7098SUX.
In the UK you are limited what you can edc. It’s up to 3 inches and non lockable. This ticks all those boxes. Love the build quality!

Will not fly over here to the east, one hand open are also a no go here.

Just heard a story about a unfortunate guy.
So this guy wanted to get a knife for his kids for boy-scouts, so he ordered a knife on one of those Chinese sites, but the knife had a range of no go features, so the guy got a hefty fine, and lost his hunting license for attempted import of illegal weapons.

Thank god the Danes of history cant see us now, they would kill all of us spineless weaklings, and it wouldn’t take more than 10 or so of them.

Which model is that Extrema? I have looked on Knife Center etc but not seeing it. I looooovvvveeee that look!

Bugout :innocent:

nice pic maba!

5 bladed aperture? Yuck! :stuck_out_tongue:

Boy, did I need the practice! lol

Sounds terrible! Here in Poland we can legally carry practically any kind of knife (except disguised). I can't imagine getting in trouble over a tool delivery.

However, all kinds of urban myths about illegal lengths and types of blades circulate as "common knowledge". Be aware of your exact local laws, people.

You could get a Spyderco Pingo, designed by Danish knifemakers Jens Anso and Jesper Voxnaes, just so that the knife follows the current Danish laws!

Here in France I think the rules are even stricter (at least on paper) : all blades are forbidden to carry in public EXCEPT when you have a good reason to do so (ie. be a Police officer…), now if you are controlled with a Swiss Army Knife and play nice it should be OK :innocent:

Spyderco Roadie FTW!

Today, lots of packages (food stuff and gifts) to open or cut tags from.

Kizer Velox 2 this time

… although for some reason, I prefer to carry around G10/VG-10 versions. Not too big, not too small, not too heavy and with this hidden flipper tab just perfect.

Spyderco Pingo

Hehe it do look to be small enough, BTW Pingo are our princes / king to be nickname going thru his education at the “frogs”
Frogs

If you are on our bad list and have a waterfront, you better keep a damn close eye on the water.
These guys will sneak in and give you a Colombian necktie and be gone before anyone notice anything.

If you have some badass guys, and you want them to play with the best, send then over here to play with our “frogs” and Jaeger Corps, cuz they only play with the best.
Some of these guys do things like distinguished graduate from the US marine core course just to prove a point.
Actually i don’t think you can become a frogman and not be in the hands of some nasty SAS guys for a day or two.

you can own larger knifes here no problem, like say for hunting or fishing ASO, but you better not be caught with a knife like that and not be going to or coming from one such activity.

Your special forces slit throats and pull people’s tongues through their necks?

If they have the time :innocent: fear alone are a potent weapon.
Fear a weapon both friends and foes use on us nowadays, and a trap we fall into again and again.

The Jaegers.
Jaeger

Got this one recently from a friend on BLF. Great knife. Been carrying it lately. A bit on the large size, not suitable for summer attire but works out fine in a pair of jeans. One of my favorites for sure.

Go Comma assisted flipper with fire steel:

Those Gocomma assisted-openers look promising.

UPDATE: Except they're not all AO knives.

There are no knife too large, just too small pockets.

Tell that to my Fairbairn-Sykes…

Kershaw Shuffle II (I’m just a babe in the woods when it comes to blades).

This is probably my biggest knife disappointment ever. I was VERY excited to buy this blade, only to find out the tanto tip is annoying, the shape and design is very rough for front picket carry, and the clip catches on everything for back pocket carry.

Hmmm… you think?
