Sofirn SP70 Alone $50, PM for AMZ US CODE(LIMITED)

I think all your info is from 8-13. Some newer updates are:

The reflector will be slightly OP. Close to SMO.

The sleeves might be for 18650 as 21700 is not officially supported. I’m not sure on the sleeve size.

I have not heard of any changes to the UI recently. I assume it’s all correct. We won’t know for sure until a prototype light gets tested and all the functions are verified.

Yeah, most of it was from the 14 August Update in post 1. I added the possibility of a ’Very Mild OP Reflector’ & the FET Driver.

I have now updated the reflector & battery sleeve as you indicated. :+1:

I just thought it might be handy for anyone just recently joining the thread to be able to see the summary of what was going on with the SP70.

Thanks & Merry Christmas!! :innocent:

Adelina (Sofirn) told me 21700 would fit but are not recommended. So, they are not officially supported but they might actually work eventually. I assume springs will become fully compressed with 2x 21700 and a small neodym magnet in between. I have no idea if that would be harmful to the flashlight or its batteries, though.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I extend the battery tubes on Convoy L6 and Jaxman X6 lights with these…http://www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-26x32x2mm-Copper-Flat-Washer-Spacer-Gasket-Seal-Fitting-Tighten-Fastener-/321668083019?hash=item4ae4e96d4b:g:ENgAAOSw8a1ZuvN4 when I want to run my 21700/20700 in them.

I ream out a couple26650/18650 plastic converter tubes to fit snug and slightly solder blob or of lately stamp .500-.750mm copper slugs out of copper sheet using a Precision brand shim punch to make the anode contacts and solder them on for my dedicated 2x26650 lights……yeah yeah I know copper oxidizes, I do not care, I have cleaned/polished and lightly coated (all copper components) with No-OX-ID special “A” and had no issues, ever, but that is what I do…ymmv…

Can’t wait for this light. NW tint is good news. Best place to buy 21700 to 26650 sleeves?

Can someone recommend where I can get some good 26650 batteries so I can have them ready?

This depends. Can you add solder blobs or do you need batteries that already has a raised positive end?

I need some with the raised end

Those are bit harder to find locally.

The Aspire 4300 from IMR makes contact in series. It’s a good cell. It pulls 19 amps on my L6.

Then there is the Basen 4500 from Liion Wholesale. I haven’t tried it, but I believe it’s a good cell.

There is the Evva Tech 4500 from MTN.

Maybe someone knows of another?

Shockli BT

And the Aspire should be good for this model correct?

They work fine in my L6.

Merry Christmas!!!

the machines we use, how much do you know about them?

The top 3 pictures look like some type freezer unit at –35C

Bottom 2 pictures are power supplies, integrated sphere, & measuring devices.

That’s my story & I’m sticking to it…….

Thank you & hope your Christmas was MERRY also!!

I don’t know much about it either. I sent a link to Maukka. Maybe he can tell us more about the HP8000Z.

Here is a translated page for the HP8000Z:

“Climate chamber”…… :+1: … Thanks joechina!

Will this light be available as a host?

It has not been determined if it will ever be sold as a host. You will just have to wait and see with the rest of us.
