He sure does still have it. I saw them April 1986 at the Pacific Amphitheatre
in Orange County CA. It was the “Once Upon a Time” tour Warm up band was the “The Call”. Fantastic show. Pretty good stretch of concerts in a few years at that place

I’ve been listening to a flock of things from my past. Here are three.
Mike Nock’s ‘Ondas’. early ECM jazz …moody hypnotic stuff. Nock(a New Zealander) was soooo underrated. Eddie Gomez on bass and Jon Christensen on drums: Wow.
In a different vein, I’m back to the Jim Carroll band. Check out ’City Drops into the Night.
