【convoy】H4 and B35AM options are updated

Pretty sure it applies to all items in the store except for the basic shipping cost when you ask for replacement parts like lenses, switches and such.

for furture designs the 21700 cells seem to be good to get a slim light compared to 26650 lights
USB-C charge port with 1-2A charge current

Wow,this link is very helpful ,thanks so much ,

yes,friend

i’m so interested in the combination of Gaggione LLC49U and Oslon CLSNM1.TG,
is it possible to send some photos or link to show the performance?

Im also curious to see what a narrow optic with a white flat will do.
21700 s2+ with quad white flat… where do i sign up :+1:

At SKV89
Do you know if it is possible to fit the Gaggione LLC49U inside a C8+?
At Simon Mao
Will it be possible to buy the M1 SMO reflector in your store. I ordered another M1 Host a few days back at BG. But it would be nice to be able to buy the SMO reflector for it.

I highly doubt it because optics are usually shorter than reflectors. Also the optic must not be resting flat on the mcpcb and not on the positive/negative leads in order to focus the emitter so the mcpcb might not even be suitable. I think it will be hard to just use these optics in an existing flashlight unless you are really skilled and can machine or 3D print your own parts. I think in order to use these successfully, a manufacturer will need to design the flashlight around these optics.

I downloaded the 3D files for the LLC49U. The outer diameter is the first problem. It is a little bit to big. And you would have to grind it to far down to fit. So this would be the first problem.
To raise the MCPCB /LED would not be a problem. But i do not know if a usual MCPCB would fit. Have not checked yet if they offer a special design for this.

For sure a interesting project. But not something for the C8+. Will look further into the optic and what they recommend regarding the MCPCB.

i add a link here

Thanks for making the M1/M2 SMO reflector available!
Already ordered one.

About new SST-20 option mentioned in OP - what are the exact tint and bin?

BIN: SST-20-W40H-A120-J4402Rev.01 J5-FB4-VH

I did the same with the same results. But there’s a difference between a cheap Ali lens and a Gaggione one.
One could ask Gaggione to provide cd/lm on this lens/LED combo. They once run a simulation for me, they would likely do the same to a prospect buyer.

The CLSNM1.TG may work very well with Led Lenser imitation type TIR optics.
They have a relatively large aspheric in the centre so it can focus the light into a narrow beam, unlike most other TIR optics.
You find these optics in cheap 3xAAA lights too, sometimes.
But maybe the diameter is too large for an S2+
But then again, i’ve seen smaller diameter versions too.

With typical 20mm TIR optics, the 5° ones often have no aspheric lens in the centre. They’re just flat in the centre.
Then they act like a normal reflector: beam from the cup and spill from the centre.

The new S2+ with the SST20 should be great, I'm going to recommend the shit out of this light on Polish EDC, Flashlight and urbex forums and fb groups, it's a really a nice addition to your assortment :THUMBS-UP:  .

To my guessing replacing the ugly yellowish XPL HI U6-4C 4200-4500K with the XPL-HI V2 5D which is slightly rosy and objectively produces nicer light would result in higher sale rates since people will recommend it merely because they'll like the tint of it. Now I often hear as argument against NW 4000K that it is ugly yellowish thus Olight is better.

The 3000K and 5000K XPL-HI tints you offer are under the BBL so why not the 4000K as well?

I'm still convinced the S2+ should come with the OP reflector by default since it's primarily a multifunction/edc light and not a pocket thrower.

+1 on the XPL-HI V2 5D. I think it's the best LED tint out there, period. Milky white in every area, from the hotpsot, corona, and spill. There's old XM-L2's in 5D1 or 5D2 Hank used to sell, a rare batch, but these XPL-HI's are very close if not better.

Next may be the Samsung 351D 4000K 90+CRI, but may depend on sourcing/batch, etc.

I cannot understand objections to these two LED's tint, but certainly what optics they are installed in is a factor.

Where can you buy them in small quantities (1 or 2 units)?

Probably because they’re hard to find/get a hold of. Everyone seems to be carrying the FB4 tint bin. The closest we’ve had to below BBL SST20 so far is the FA3 tint bin in Fireflies’ lights, but those still seem to average out to just above BBL. FB4 isn’t bad - could use a minus green filter but is by no means terrible without one.

Still, hopefully someone can secure FA1 or FA4 tint bin in the near future.
