Sorry guys the amount is PMs I have got is overwhelming, I’m just removing the lights that have been sold, the ones that are spoken for will be put on hold until payment is received.
What’s the switch / tail setup like on the “Gen 1” Sinner Cu?
I have a Gen 0 and am assuming the switch is not the same. Could you get a shot looking down into the tailcap (tail removed from body)?
Well I wasn’t aware there was a gen 0… As far As I know these are the first commercially available hosts Sinner sold on this forum, way before he stamped his logo or did any of the bezel job or tritium slot on his lights. They don’t have o-rings on the body hence not waterproof, the tailcap consists on a white plastic threaded disk with a sightly protruding brass button, regular white omtem switch on the other side.
Yea “Gen 0” uses a crazy screw in Judco 10A switch that screws directly into the tail, not your typical Omten… These were the lights that were purchased before they were produced (not at all complaining, I LOVE mine and would love another to compliment it).
I was hoping for a Cu host to match my Al (looking at it again the body is also different, same shape and dimensions but very different machining).
I can’t commit right now, I was hoping for a twin to mine but I’ll definitely keep it in my mind the next few days (having said that, this IS NOT a request to hold it for me. If someone else wants it by all means sell it)
Just received a PM from someone interested in the Sinner Cu and just to verify I was wrong about the switch, this definitely isn’t an Omten:
Switch is held by a white “plastic” threaded disc (I know it’s made from a strong composite material just can’t remember the name right now). So this is probably a Gen 0?
