C-MINI 1x26650 XM_L Flashlight

I have been meaning to get my camera out for u , but for now I can say it’s great sized, about the same size as the 2c cell maglight body only, throw well and is has great clicker on it , is way brighter than my uf 2100 and also brighter than mt uf t 50 , more to come , built like a tank IMHO

So the host fits 3 X AA then? If I can get 3 AA batteries in this thing then it shall be mine!

Well, you need about 24 mm 28 mm at the very least to fit 3 AA batteries, which is smaller slightly larger than the 26 mm width of the 26650 battery. After factoring in a little extra tolerance for the battery carrier (space between the batteries, not carrier wider than the batteries) and fitting the AA batteries you'd be cutting it pretty close if the tube is designed to fit the 26650 very snugly.

EDIT: I goofed with my original measurement. Must have been inadequate lighting. Yeah.. that's it

The battery is not snug side to side , the battery wiggled quite a bit actually , there isalot of tail cap threading as well which was nice and the aprons hoke the battery very snug so no jiggle when tail cap is snug, unfortunately I don’t own a aa holder ;(

I got a holster from ric for it as well, if u paid shipping I would and to u to check out if u like  or if u sen me a battery carrier I could let u know if it fits and send it back to u?

I don't have one. I would just build one once I have the flashlight in my hand and have the specs. Would you mind measuring the inside diameter of the tube as precise as you can? I'm really curious now!

U forgot I was a watch smith,we live by calipers, lol;). Inner diameter is 27.20. And kingkong 26650 outer diameter is 26.17 mm ,lmk if u need anything else , I may want u to make me one to

Maybe someone will love this....

TrustFire A8 $44.90

Compact for 26650

Battery & Charger included

Pok, that's a pretty slick deal. Thanks for posting.

Oh yeah, YOU'RE the watch smith

Thanks for the precise measurements. I haven't built a battery carrier yet but I'm willing to take on the challenge if I know the tube will fit 3 x AA. That's my kind of mod because it can turn out crappy looking and no one will know since it's hidden

3AAA will fit - the reverse isn't generally true - ie the ID of most 3AAA lights is around 23mm...and the carriers are slightly smaller.

I'd love to hear (and see!) more about the clicky on the c-mini :) I've been wondering about it since I first saw the light listed.

Well, I goofed with my original measurement. What I meant is that 3 x AA requires at least 28 mm (not consider spacing between batteries in the carrier).

Looks like they won't fit!!!

3 x AAA isn't that attractive because that's been done already. It's the 3 x AA format that seems to be rare. If I'm running a light fat enough to carry a 26650 then I want AA compatibility, not AAA.

yes, my mistake - somehow I read AAA - I was kind of wondering why anybody would want that lol

It’s really hard to explain the clucky , it’s so smooth, no rubber boot just slick and like pressing the on off switch on your cruise control button if it’s on your turn signal thingy? Make since ?

yes, that's what it looked like - is it waterproof?

Dude the orings on this one are thicker than any light I have owned , suprised me actually , I have no affiliation with ric, in fact he sent me a a order wrong , and I get nothing from him , but this is the coolest and probably the smallest 26650 there ever will be and bright  u ask Chicago I’m pretty straight up when I tell u something

If I sound a little weird , or different i have had a few tidied tonight ,lol;)

sound right as rain, but maybe cuz i'm on pain meds lol

Lol , I love pain meds ,hahaha not really but they did help me a lot when I battled throat cancer

Just received mine c-mini and tried to disassemble a head for the LED swapping to warm one - not successful. The brass pill seems to be glued hardly to the head...

The LED in my examlpe is greenish, the driver is Nanjg-105C with eight 7135 chips and configured to 3-mode.

I broke TWO strap-wrenches on mine, along with some chain-nose pliers and a center-punch.

This is AFTER 4 freeze-boil cycles in a vacuum bag.

I finally drilled two holes and inserted a steel rod all the way through. Even with the additional leverage, it took every bit of my 101 kilos to break the bond....after a couple of broken tools.

They weren't shy with the Loctite.
