Best 26650 Battery Right Now?

Looking to stock up on some 26650 batteries and curious what is the go to for high output lights. Is the shockli still the one to get?

I use shockli from mtn electronic.

Yes, I would still recommend the Shockli cell.

At 5500mAh and capable of outputting 20A, it’s a great cell for all purposes.

Shockli 5500mAh.

Also the keeppower 6000mAh 20A unprotected cells, which are the exact same cell as the shockli just with a different wrap and overstated capacity as opposed to understated.

Shockli 5500mah

protected or non ? for protected my fav is the keeppower 6000mah, lovely batteries.

Hi all,

what do you thing about these: Shockli 5250mAh 5000mAh 20A 3.7V li-ion rechargeable high drain

Are the Vapcell INR26650 (purple) a y good?
And any clue on the Sofirn 26650?
I’m looking to buy 2 26650s but have no clue on what to get :zipper_mouth_face:

You can compare different brands in my table and comparators:
https://lygte-info.dk/info/batteryIndex.html

I know you are the master on all this and dont want to sound dumb but when looking at that table I have no idea what I’m looking at how do I know what good and what’s not.

I’m not much of a battery guru myself, but I think what you want to do is click on 26650 under Size, then sort descending (click on the header) for some of the higher-current capacity tests (e.g. 10A, 20A). This should give you clue as to which batteries would hold up better in those really bright lights.

You select the size you want and then click the header twice for the current you want. Now the top of the list will show the batteries that can deliver most capacity.
When you have found a likely battery, check the review, especially how hot it gets at the desired current.

At the top of the list you can select what current columns to show and if you want the current at a higher voltage, it is possible to switch columns for higher voltage one (Do not enable more than you need, it makes it way to hard to find anything in the table).

I vote for KeepPower they are great!

I am running the green shockli Abarr included a link for and I’m very satisfied. I don’t vape, only using them for Lumintop ODL20C and Convoy L6. Run-time is excellent and they stay cool.
I’m a little sad that the cyan (baby blue) Liitokala 26650s seem to have vanished from sellers except the fakes on Aliexpress. That was an excellent cell!

the black Liitokala are still good, using one in my emisar d4s.

Anyone familiar with these on Amazon … 8000 mAh ? ? … :stuck_out_tongue:

You can also get the red vapcell 5500s which are the exact same cells as shockli and the vapcell old wrap 5900 mah.

one of those crap multi brand knockoffs.
nothing but garbage.
