I was not specifically referring to this type of deal, but many deals are targeted to the US. Obviously deals from US-based sellers (shipping from US to Europe kills any deal) like the recent SWM V11R ebay deal that I had loved to be in, but also quite some deals from chinese brands, like Thorfire and Sofirn that had good deals on the US Amazon.

But I was not really complaining :beer:

Nothing really, they’ve added a plastic washer for the positive spring and if it bothers you, you can put some tape over the contacts on the LED PCB.
The LED retaining ring is anodized so it shouldn’t short but it’s not a lot of effort to put some tape on it.

It’s crazy, after several weeks I visit BLF again and five minutes later I’ve bought TWO more flashlights in the middle of the night. :person_facepalming:

Are these Cometas safe to use or is there still a problem that needs to be fixed?
And what is the best recent LED to mod the Cometa?

Yep, the deal still alive. Honestly I wasn’t expecting it to still be available since this is what I call a bargain. But surprisingly I’ve just managed to purchase Thor with Cometa.
