that's awesome
light only is $95
I'm really wanting to try it, but something's telling me to let someone else jump first.
I don't recall how the trj12 driver works - but if the LEDs are parallel, i bet this is the same driver w/ different reflector.
if that's the case...ie it pulls the same current, then there's a bit more brightness at the expense of throw?
BUT - the KD 7xml driver might make this one hot potato!
Should totally trounce a TK 70, even if it's poorly driven.

uh oh - get your fire fighting suit on rusty
paisley shuffle fix
btt....again
somebody please buy this
I cannot get the measurements on the body/bezel to make sense. To me the head looks wider than stated.
Does anyone have some more information on this light??

This is annoying! Now they have 7 LEDs and it's gonna be difficult to resist, factoring that you can mod it with the driver from Kaidomain!!!
Wow. I wonder how hard they drive each XM-L? Most mega-leds Ive seen like this drive at a paltry 1.5 amps or so.
Very cool looking light and wouldn't mind having it myself. The one thing I did notice is the weight without batteries is 400g. Hopefully most of that weight will be for a very good brass pill. The pill on my Ultrafire UF-T70 weighs a whopping 230g. It would be nice if this light used as great a pill as the Ultrafire.

There needs to be a smiley of a jaw dropping, would be very appropriate here.
if this is the first 7 X xml, i think keygos trying to be a important brand like Ultrafire and trustfire with in chinese brands. Unless its not a false attempt to make this design
Very heavy and floody...I can pass, though I'd darn near pay to be there when one of you buys it and fires it up!

so we'll see 9xml (budget, not >$500) before....?....August
It looks just like the tr-j12 and i asked another seller about the + button's of the batteries and they said they do not stick out from the sides of the battery they might be like king kongs no good for series use with out mods ? ill wait for a trustfire version i think
I have a feeling that it is driven the same as the TR-J12. Coz it can use 2 x 18650 which is the same as the TR-J12. At such drive levels, there really is not much difference in OTF lumens between 5 and 7 XM-Ls.
Assuming it's the same driver as the TR-J12, is there a better driver available now that would make this light a wow factor type of light? (safely) Or do we have to wait until another company produces it with a better (new) driver?
we won't know until someone measures the this, and the trj12...
Glad you metioned it though - I have the KD 9xml driver and was going to pot it but I'll take good measurements first.
1" copper pipe is a perfect pot for it.
Very nice find.
Assume each LED is actually driven at close to 3A this is close to 12.6 watts each XM-L = 88WATTS
With 12.6V input under load less than 12V. Say 12V to be nice.
Say 12V input and 7.35A = 88 WATTS
With just 4800mAh (more like 4000mAh) you will get amazing OTF lumens for 20~30 minutes of 3 IMR 26650 cells.
Good Hosts for a copper heatsink build and nice U2 LED of the highest bin in 6500 tint.

That's what i am hoping for too. (willing to pay 100 bucks for that for the flashlight and if replacement drivers are available then it'd be way cool LOL!) But likely to be 99.9999% impossible...sigh.
There is no way any driver of such size (say 30-35mm) can handle the heat, and most of such stuff are not super efficient anyway + bad heatsinking compared to how the emitters/MCPCBs are heatsinked (like your Varapower Turbo, no driver and heatexchanger and stuff). Take 90% eff which is already very good, that's 8.8 watts of pure heat, like a XM-L gunned to the limit.
Even 40W is already a wee bit pushing it. (eg DRY)
It will be more like 1 amp per led
someone be the pig on this one and review it. It looks great.

All you have to do is go to the website and scan down to the "Features" section and you'll see:
The caps on TrustFire is for emphasis. I wonder if someone at Keygos goofed - or if they are trying to gain some credibility by including the TrusFire name???

Pulled the trigger / took one for the team.
Hope it's worth it.

Thanks....do try it with 3 x 18650 as well as 2x18650. Do you have a lux meter? I hope that it's > 3000L OTF, then i'll get one.
I cant wait for you to post pics on it already. It looks tempting, but never heard of the brand. still a noob at these things..

I think you can use the Kaidomain 7 LED driver. $20 i think. Some German forum already modded the J12 with the 5 LED version.
But if you cant use the torch for long periods of time, then is there much use to it? Just for showing off?
