Copper S2+ limited edition

I believe they’re only soldered if you choose greater than 4x7135 chips. 4 or less and it should ship with a retaining ring used.

Thanks
I think it’s already too late!

I messaged Simon and he responded!“Yes, I will launch next batch after Chinese spring festival. And the style will be changed.”

Chinese Spring Festival is Feb. 5th
I can wait until then

you think something like a Cu Heatsink Pill could be in a Cu S2+ ?.
too much weight?.

or best just to use normal black s2+?.

If the copper S2+ comes with a 18350 tube, I’m finally in for one. Curious about the new styling

Hell yes please! The only reason I didn’t get your copper S2+ is because of the knurling. I don’t really like how it looks, actually I don’t like it on any light to be honest, just doesn’t look good. If it’s just plain, I’d probably get a couple!

could they also work in an 18650 tube?. x 2 18350.
optosolis quad.

@HCRI9080, you could just use a buck driver since Optosolis and E21As have very low VFs, especially in a quad config.

so 2 x 18350 ok?

Or you could just use a single 18650 in it.
No need to use 2x18350s then

so would 2 x 18350 come into play if it was a linear driver ?

Any chance of a copper Convoy T2 you think?

good suggestion

Welcome back Simon. Hope you enjoyed your holiday.

NOW GET BACK TO WORK ! ! !

Simon, I really want to buy a bunch of T2 for modding but I don’t like the driver. Can you consider improving the driver to be like the one on the Reylight TiLan and Brass AA? Reylight have the best AA flashlight rear clicky UI/driver I’ve used. The Sofirn SF14 comes in second. They have no PWM.

In case a completely new driver (which would happen there were to be no PWM) is not feasable, perhaps the current driver can be changed to a higher PWM frequency, anything over 5000 Hz should be a vast improvement.

And when the software for the T2 is adapted anyway, the double-click timing for strobe should be much shorter so that when clicking twice to get from low to high does not result in strobe (like what happens to everyone with the current T2).

…and the 14500 support would be very nice…(…for the possible copper T2…)

Y’all keep forgetting how much smaller a company Convoy is, difficult for him to develop the kind of drivers you’re asking for. Sofirn is a big company by comparison, and I’m not sure exactly where Rey sourced that driver.

Perhaps it doesn’t hurt to ask, but it may be asking too much…

I thought it was common knowledge Reylight is just custom runs from lumintop? idk
