【convoy】H4 and B35AM options are updated

What size is the driver on this S11? Is the switch forward or reverse?

+/

Knurling only on the tailcap, like on the emisar d4 or the fireflies pl47.
EDIT : but the knew simon’s knurling looks good. Little diamonds or several widths of parallel grooves patterns are boring, even if it always looks nice when done well.

I don’t like smooth body. It looks like unfinished.

That S11 proto looks like something Klarus would make

I too think that the S11 should be a 21700 flashlight, with the less than 7A that it draws there are no downsides switching to 21700 and only advantages.

IMO of course.

Yeah, when the 21700 has most of the capacity of the 26650, and seems closer in size to the 18650 vs 26650, and has pretty good current ratings, as much as I like the 26650 I’d think the 21700 would be the better choice.

’Though all my 26650s here are now probably plotting to kill me for saying so.

Agree. 21700. The smooth design is fine and a nice change.

I just received the S2+ in gray with the SST-20 emitter from Simon’s store. I really like the body color and beam the SST-20 creates. I ordered the light with 4 7135’s which allows the light to run at full power and not get uncomfortably hot. Simon, thanks for creating a great light.

P.S. The new S11 looks great!

Driver is in production. Maybe need 10 days,

26650 or 18650
i have 6500k 4000k 3000k

Does it support protected 26650s/18650s?

Yes, it’s brass pill inside, It’s good for DIY

I will launch, S2+ 21700 later

I will launch, S2+ 21700 later

22mm driver
125V 10A forward switch

yes ,it can run on protected lithium battery ,too

I will be buying one of these. This would be awesome in an S2+ size light even though it may not handle heat real well.

Convoy S11
Will there be thermal control and brightness stabilization? Honestly, I had hopes for the S3 size (18650) for XHP50, but no one seems to be planning to do this besides zebralight (Zebralight SC600Fс IV Plus XHP50).

Vg15s can be easily moded with 20-21mm boost driver and 6v led.

it has thermal control but no ramping mode,
the driver uses PIC12F683
