FW3A, a TLF/BLF EDC flashlight - SST-20 available, coupon codes public

@ Rat_Racer ā€¦ Excuse my ignorance, but what is a ā€œ$$$ Peleā€??

You gonna hold out for the FW3G model??

LOL. Possible

FW3TA

Me too. Starting saving my pennies todayā€¦.

Dare I even ask???

Yes, and Iā€™ve already worked things out with CWF and RMM. CWF even sent me a nice purple Dragon S2+ with green LEDs, just because he wanted to be nice. Iā€™m not previously familiar with Recon1 or Deadwood Custom Works though, and the license applies to anyone who distributes the code ā€” including when used inside a product they sell.

This sort of thing happens all the time, is easy to resolve, and typically isnā€™t a big deal. Itā€™s just interesting stumbling across my code in places I didnā€™t know about.

  • FW3UN = Unoptainium

I guess we are all eagerly awaiting February 20th.

Lucky guess?? Yepā€¦ it would seem so cabfrank. :+1: .

While weā€™re guessing, I know how you feel about assumptions and all that, but putting you on the spot, if you absolutely HAD to guess, when do you think FW3A sales will begin? Do you think/hope May sounds reasonable?

best not to ! :innocent:

List updated in post #4. 1393 people, 2005 lightsā€¦ plus ~400 on TLF.

- TK

Think we can engineer it to not need a battery?
Electrolyte solution cathode in the battery tube, some sort of resin coating on the inner tube for the separation layer then the tantalum body is the anode.

FW3LN - Liquid Nitro, or
FW3DI - Dry Ice / FW3CD - Carbon Dioxide

UNLIMITED TURBO!!!

WTB FW3MF ā€¦. power source: ā€œMr. Fusionā€ :stuck_out_tongue:

May I propose the FW3O ā€“ The Osmium Edition.
Osmium is the densest element, is ridiculously hard, super high melting point, very rare (though not as expensive as gold). It also has a beautiful blueish/cold silver color. Heat transfer similar to iron, so better than titanium. Basically impossible to machineā€¦ So perfectly unreasonable for a flashlight

That sounds great.
Anyone know where I can get some Osmium tubing?

What about the ā€¦.

FW3PL - The Plutonium Edition.

I would sayā€¦.
ā€¦ā€¦ (and this is the first thing that popped in my head) between 1 April & 15 April.

Hoping for 17 March - 31 March though....
