My avatar is the car I always wanted to own (E46 M3 CSL in black), but I āonlyā made it to the E46 M3 instead. The CSL model variant was limited; the value of these cars in great condition have increased significantly.
Due to age/daily driving requirements of my current vehicle Iād have to replace it soon. Looking at a M4 right now.

I just updated my avatar. I tried to copy the style of my original one. But I used a new photo of myself as the base for it. So, my avatar has gotten āolderā now. 
For a long time, my avatar has been a spinning umbrella.
Before then, it was a static umbrella.

It's not perfect, for my taste, so I did some very simple image editing and came up with this:

It's simple, and we'll see just how long it will be before I get sick of it. 
Mine is from a 1994 Pink Floyd album cover, "The Division Bell". For me it's two talking heads speaking past each other. It was appropriate for a current events/politics forum I used to participate in. I'd change it, but I haven't found anything I like better.

My avatar is George Greenough on a surf mat, on a wave. I chose it because surfing, that is surfing on a mat, is one of my favorite things to do. I just got back from surfing at Rincon, a bit of hurricane swell. I donāt plan on changing my favorite activity, or my avatar any time soon.

Mine was the last photo I took of a flashlight. In this case it was a Streamlight Double Clutch headlamp that was about to be attached to my hardhat.
Edit: I thought my choice of avatar and decided to change it to the front view of a budget light by Energizer I picked up at Lowes. It may change.

The new sig takes up less real estate on your screen, despite being dozens of kilobytes larger.
I think it looks much better. 
The old sig looks intense and somewhat angry.
The new one looks sexier to me.
