Any idea for the estimated lumens of the Convoy S2+ SST20-4000K for each of the 4 variations (7135x3, x4, x6, x8; ie. 1.05A, 1.4A, 2.1A, 2.8Amps)?
If we take the example of 2.8A = 650 lumen then we can extrapolate the lower units based off the typical output curve. So probably something like this:
3x - 280lm
4x - 360lm
6x - 510lm
8x - 650lm

It is basically adding 5mm in length and 3mm in diameter to make an 18650 fit where a 21700 would go.

It’s all relative. If 2.8A = 520 (20% less than 650) then adjust everything down 20%.
3x - 225lm
4x - 290lm
6x - 410lm
8x - 520lm
Does the FT03 group buy include the 18650 -> 21700 adapter? It’s supposed to be 26650 compatible too so how can a 21mm cell adapter work?

You’re a bit below your floor CCT’s preference if i’m not wrong. I do hope you will appreciate its colors rendition despite its yellow tint.
I use a Lee 804 filter in the one that I just received, it kills most of the green at low levels an gives a bit of a rosy tint

Yeah, I did order one. :person_facepalming: And your right, it is below my usual 5000K “floor”. But the price was right & I do not have a SST20. So after reading all the talk about it, I thought I’d give it a try.
It I were to end up hating it, I’ll just gift it or change the emitter.
I figured it is a win - win situation.
