Problems with Bang good

Banggood should start a policy of being able to ship stuff back to their US warehouse. Shipping that light back to China with a tracking number would cost double the cost of the light.

Ahh yes, yet another member has issues with Banggood. I have addressed this issue on a previous thread about BG practices : Banggood is A FRAUD BE CAREFUL!!!

I still had problems when I ordered the Convoy L6 for a close friend of mine. I shouls have refused but I would rather help a friend though.

I agree I ordered a light from BG and the rubber USB cover was missing, went thru all the stuff of sending pictures what ever they asked I don’t even remember probably 8 emails, they offered 300 BG points after a month of frustration with no resolution I filed dispute claim with PP. BG agreed to exchange or give me credit all I had to do was ship it back with tracking # i checked, shipping was like $52.00 plus the lithium battery paper work, tried to explain that I only paid $19.00 for the light and it was not worth it, in the end PP denied my claim because I didn’t send the light back. I could have probably fought it and won but life’s to short.

I wasn’t that impressed with PP claim process I couldn’t attach any documentation, I would have thought if you print a copy of the email conversation to a PDF it would make it very easy to just attach a copy of the email, but they make you retype everything or copy and paste.

I’ve heard a lot of positive things about Paypal’s buyer protections, but actually dealing with their customer service to get even a simple misunderstanding resolved has been terrible for me too. I spent a year after college working abroad, and a few months in, I ordered a camera from ebay from a seller who would ship internationally to me. I didn’t have any problem bidding on ebay, but when I went through the checkout and logged in to Paypal, my foreign IP address triggered their automatic fraud protection, which locked my account. I could have set a vacation in the account settings or by emailing them before I left, but already having logged in from a foreign IP put everything on lock down, so I couldn’t even have a relative back home go into the account and set the vacation. I got it cleared up eventually, but it involved several phone calls and emails to them. It took so long that I ended up having to get a relative pay for the camera and I paid them back like a week later.

Silly question, maybe, but how would they handle a DOA instead of wrong-tint? Same way?

Aha, not bad, then.

I got a UMSC2 Nitecore charger that was DOA, after 2 emails and a video and pictures they refunded me the full $19 and also gave me 500 BG points.

OP, I am a CW tint guy. Looking for another GT Mini.

I can tell my one experience with a DOA light & Banggood Lightbringer. 2 emails from me, two from them. Problem solved in less than 24 hours. New light shipped. I kept the DOA one. Got some “Banggood Points” for my trouble too.

Basically, I think it all boils down to which ever CS person you end up talking to.

Sometimes your the windshield…. other times your the bug.

Anyone know why the Convoy L2s are taking a month or more to ship?

The last message I received from banggood about the half-dead emitter in the L6 I received stated they had contacted their supplier but had not received a reply and asked me to wait for their reply. That was four days ago. Five days ago I sent a pm explaining the situation to the banggood rep here. No reply.

edit: I think it’s f’d up when a vendor rep pops in on a near daily basis to update a sale thread but can’t be bothered to reply to a pm about a problem.

+1 this. File a dispute on Paypal. You will have to provide them the details on the transaction and how they “scam” you.

try gear best, they have a much better runabout system, they even send more duds than good ones, even if the good one wasnt the one ordered.

Soooo… Banggood have just asked me twice if it’s alright to steal my money :person_facepalming:

These USB lights were on sale last month, £1.18 per pack of 5 pcs, so i ordered 5 packs, 25 pcs.

They only sent 1 pc per pack meaning i was missing 20 pcs. Those 20 pcs cost £4.72, they offered me a refund of £2.36.

I declined, explaining that i paid £4.72 and that at current prices i would have to pay over £17 for the missing items, so £2.36 was an insult and i would just like the missing items sent to me and that they could add them to another order i’d just placed to save them postage.

Today they stated that the items are out of stock and asked if i would accept £2.36 refund.

According to their website the items are in stock and available to purchase on the link above. I paid £4.72 for the items but instead of sending them to me as agreed they want to give me £2.36.

Am i missing something obvious? Can anyone offer a reason as to why this isn’t just plain theft by fraud?

I received a Lumintop GT Mini, no 18350 tube… Should be included. Wrote them, no answer so far. Ordered Skilhunt H03R on Feb 14th, still processing…Wanted to order the Convoy S2+ SST20 and Astrolux S41S, but will pass. Gearbest seems to have much better service.

I’d give ’em one last chance, forewarning them that my next step would be to approach Mr PayPal or Mr CreditCard to fix things.

Your not missing anything. I think the BG CS rep(s) you are dealing with are not the sharpest pencil in the box when it comes to math skills. :person_facepalming:

Explain it very simply one more time, as Lightbringer suggested. If they still do not understand, call it a day & let PayPal or CC sort it out; again… as Lightbringer suggested. :+1:

I will let you know, my MS12 got a faulty LED, so far i sent them a video because i know they will ask for one, they just replied and asked me for a picture of the SKU label (wasting time.) Which I have provided without argument. Fun times… Probably be coerced into accepting a partial refund as return shipping may be prohibitive

Nah, in that case defective is defective. Mr PayPal to the rescue…

I wanted to buy a couple of blf A6 xpl 3D from banggood, what the hell. I placed an order said it would arrive 15th of march. That was two days ago. Now my account shows nothing in it no orders placed. They are not answering my questions when sending them a message. So I thought I would order 2 more and now the shipping time isn’t until May or possibly August, if I order from China. Now if I ordered from the US the price almost doubles and adds $15 for shipping. this is BS.
