I wanted to buy a couple of blf A6 xpl 3D from banggood, what the hell. I placed an order said it would arrive 15th of march. That was two days ago. Now my account shows nothing in it no orders placed. They are not answering my questions when sending them a message. So I thought I would order 2 more and now the shipping time isn’t until May or possibly August, if I order from China. Now if I ordered from the US the price almost doubles and adds $15 for shipping. this is BS.
repeating 2.32 or what ever is a blatant p-take… just a guess (based on sick of hearing it these days) it narmaly means a three to four week chat then a suggestion that its too late now.(even though the 4 week to resolve thing is from the last contact, so save all messages.
I ordered a couple Convoys on the 4th and they have been stuck perpetually in back order status since then. I ordered direct from Simon on the 9th and they are already at a USPS facility in CA. Ali Express is usually the slow one! I think the Chinese new year may still be going on over at banggood.
I hope not. I’ve dealt with them for a few yrs now. NEVER had a problem.
So far.
I have 4 knives on order and paid for. $80+ worth.
5th Feb ordered. They say shipping out between 5 and 12 Mar??
Out of stock.
Yet they have same items on their pages now. To buy now???.
They’ve given me a date of shipping.
IF I wait till then and past.
will it take me past the P.P complaints time schedule?.
Thank you I appreciate that link. Going to wait till I hear back from banggood as to whether my order went through or not if it did not I will order from Simon.
I screwed up I already ordered S2+ .
But I would really like to get blf a6.
Is banggood the only place to order those.
I don’t really want to wait four months for them.
Tomorrow will be seven days since I received the most recent message from banggood about the L6 I received with a half-dead xhp70. The message claimed they contacted their supplier but had received no reply and asked me to wait for their next message. I have been patient. A week is more than sufficient. I have no doubt that had they actually contacted Simon he would have replied days ago.
I didn’t request anything unreasonable, just a replacement 3a xhp70 on a dtp mcpcb. I didn’t even include the scratched ar coating in the message reporting the problem with the L6. I tried to be reasonable.
If I don’t hear from bg tomorrow I’ll be filing a paypal claim. With over 1000 positive buyer feedback on ebay and almost twenty years as a paypal user I’m hoping they rule favorably.
Thanks Lightbringer and Teacher, as suggested i politely reiterated the facts as simply as possible.
Yesterday: “So sorry to tell you that this item is out of stock now,so we can not arrange a replacemenr for you. Would you like to accept our refund GBP2.36?”
Today: “So sorry to tell you that if you want this item, you need to pay the difference USD4.05 for us. Are you willing to accept it?”
This is Chief Wu as well which i assume is a generic name used for e-mails, though i guess it could be one disgruntled employee trying to sabotage the company
I use Banggood cos they’re cheap so i save money, and i accept that they can be cheap by spending less on ensuring processes are reliable, and on customer service, so i expect mistakes and am very tolerant in trying to get them resolved and realistic in my expectations, and i take all this into consideration when deciding whether to order from them. The alternative is to pay a higher price with a more reliable vendor, that’s entirely my choice.
However, with Chief Wu’s latest response i now see this less as a simple mistake and more as an extortion attempt. Maybe they deliberately didn’t send the items and are now being deliberately obtuse to try and create enough hassle for me to give up and give them free money. Why else would they ask me to pay more for items i’ve already paid for?
Mistakes i tolerate, extortion not so much. A Paypal dispute, a complaint to Chief Wu’s superiors, some public awareness of my extortion belief, and a link to this thread are in order. I think that’s the limit of my powers.
