Can you give me link for the Clear anodized 18650 C8+ ?

Could it be this?…

I don't think there is a C8+ clear version, but maybe I just haven't seen one so far..

MascaratumB, almost.

This is a clear C8, not a C8. But if no clear C8 available as host, I would take a few clear C8 hosts as well - just I think, a C8+ as host like these, but with clear anodization + translucent tailcap could be awesome good

(And I have a few LED stars and drivers piled up, so I would definitely need hosts.)

L4 is good but I like the idea of a C8+ type-C charge with tail standing. I like the C8 form factor because there are so many mods and parts made for that light. For instance, I want to be able to use L4P’s 6 emitter mcpcb

I would buy (10) 22mm to 17mm adapters. I understand you may need many more than that to justify the cost of making the adapters. I have many used 26650 cells that I would like to sell on with an inexpensive host. The newer 21700 cells seem to outperform the 26650 in every way that I can see and are manufactured by the major players.

My morning routine on my pc consist of checking my emails and then looking to see if any Convoy 21700 flashlights are available.

Sorry! I indicated those as the silver/clear C8+ are not available at Convoy Store! They are different but the C8+ is not listed (currently)!
Maybe Simon can say something like that !

I would also like to buy some of those 22 to 17 mm adjustment rings, because I like the plain 1 mode 3x7135 driver. A 22 mm board with room to solder a number of 7135 would be a nice alternative as well, so to put on 3, 4, 5…8 of the 7135 on it. My main use of most of the S2+ I have is to lighten my interior on specific spots, and I always use the same settings for that, so little need for many modes in that user scenario.

Unless…. the ramping driver has a higher efficiency than 7135 when using a single battery like in the S11. In that case I’ll go for your new ramping driver

Being able to tailstand fairly well is one plus of the 26650 format. Also, has good capacity. Add a plain, robust, inexpensive amc7135 17mm driver and a diffuser and you could have a lantern in the tint of your choice.

The problem with e-switches on this size of light and usb charging in general is that they are normally built onto the driver board and make driver swaps difficult.

One of the best things about Convoy’s is ease of modding, why take that away?

Totally agree. Keep it straightforward moddable!

/\ . +1 . :+1:

Which flashlight is that?

Zebralight SC52F.

No any issue with manufacturing,

Hmm, wonder about “pineapple” knurling like on the TK05.

Fewer, wider cuts, probably less scrap.

That is a great idea! I really like that pineapple look.

+1 to the pinaple :)

+2!!
