I once tried ordering a couple of batteries from an AliExpress store, and was mildy surprised to receive 2 generic âT6â zoomable flashlights (which had lots of scratches, but I tested them to work). My ordered batteries were placed inside the flashlight (wrapped).
Unfortunately, almost all other AliExpress stores now have stopped shipping bare batteries to my country. The only ones remaining that ship batteries, use DHL or Fedex or other expensive shipping ($50 to $100+ shipping fee) â I have not tried these latter shipping methods, so itâs now been more than 1 year that I have ordered bare batteries from foreign online stores. The only ones that do ship are the ones included in flashlights (eg. the Sofirn flashlight with battery kit).
Maybe I should suggest to the AliExpress stores to try the above technique (place the battery in some cheap disposable electronic device) â this will work for few batteries. Because I think there is still a limit of around 2 flashlights with 2 batteries per shipping (for the postal shipping), The more expensive DHL/Fedex shipping likely have a higher limit on the number of batteries that can be shipped (but still need to be placed inside âcontainersâ).
> Has anyone received any shipments recently (to Canada), from Aliyaâs ?
> How does Aliyaâs ship ?
> Can/will the CBSA confiscate battery orders from Aliyaâs ?
I havenât found anyone cheaper than nkon.nl for European customers and iâve been looking around a lot.
If anyone knows anyone cheaper, please tell
I would be buying like 50-100 cells.
great list - I remember when the big sellers in Asia would sell authentic sells for 2 dollars after points and free shipping, guess these days are over.
Whatâs the turnaround time for an order for Aliyaâs battery store? I have an order dated 30th April and itâs yet to ship out. No replies when contacting them on shipping status. Anyone dealt with them recently?
So I picked up a couple of batteries from âThe Lithium Guysâ in Australia. Interestingly they appear to sell their own batteries that they claim are OEM LG or Samsung. Iâm curious to see how they perform, as theyâre suspiciously cheap (AUD $15 for two)
Couple of photos of the cell and data sheet that came with it.
Hey guys, I specifically want a vapcell 16340 that can be purchased in the UK with quick delivery in the UK. It wouldnât hurt if I can also get 25Râs or VTC5aâs from the same place. Any advise please?
I wonder how it compares to the price from Illum.com? I just got an order for 8 cells (4 35Eâs and 4 30Qâs), which came to $55.42 US including the $17.50 shipping charge.
I canât tell what 18650canada charges for shipping, since they require me to fill out too much stuff to get a quote (Iâm lazy). And, do they charge tax? All my orders from Illum have come in about a week, with no tax or fees.
So, for 8 cells, I got charged $55.42 US which is about $74 Canadian. About $9.25 CND per cell.
18650canada seems to be about $7 per cell. If they charge tax, it would be about $8. Whatâs the shipping charge, and do they charge tax?
Anyway, itâs good to have someone else in the game.
