I had a similar thing happen to me, except with one of those “gift” items that were bundled for a time with another item while it was priced higher.
Except they split the items into separate orders, shipped the “main” item first, then cancelled the “gift” item. Leaving me unable to refund and basically being tricked into buying the “main” item at the higher price. :expressionless:

(Needless to say, I’m still trying to get over that.)

It seems the holiday has thrown a wrench in the works. Their website could use a re work . PP refunds should be no longer than a day and auto cancellations should be your choice.

4 of my last orders that I used good coupons on were canceled (were in stock) and still waiting on refunds for 3 of them. Quit BG until I hear this new way of doing business is over with.

Sounds like it’s their new business model. Offer a “teaser” coupon for something really great at an even better price, hope you buy other stuff along with it.

If nothing else is in the order, it ain’t worth shipping, so hold onto the bux a few months then auto-cancel without warning.

If other stuff is in the order, hurry up and ship that stuff first, then keep the Nice Price goody “backordered” forever until that’s canceled, and now you can’t cancel the whole order because other stuff already shipped.

I keep hearing the same stories over and over, so I’m quite hesistant to order anything from BG anymore. The last order was my Cometas with “free” Vapcells that never materialised.

YES. See my post in this thread: Archive topic - Banggood & Fin17 - #639 by koziy

I don’t know if it’s because price changes or any kind of funny business, but they seem to have some serious issues keeping their inventory up to date lately. I’ve had plenty of good experiences with BG…I feel like I gave them a fair shot… and so far I haven’t been blatantly ripped off, but I definitely do not like what’s happened to many of my previous orders, and I won’t place another order until I start to hear good stuff about them again, if only because I don’t want to deal with the inconvenience.

so far my first order that i canceled a big thumbs down, they lie about when payment will be refunded, iam on day 5 today almost and now they ignore my email replies when i ask its been more then 72hours wait to check my payment ,i said i done that where are my money for a order that is cancelled ? so far silence. no money and no more replies… what a joke this is….

happy vip3 customer but if this is how they treat u then i probably wont be buying anymore if they hold my money as ransom or what… :person_facepalming:

my mistake was to order something that was not in stock, its been pushed atleast 4 or 5 times since feb 19, dont ever order anything unless its in stock, the wait time for refund seems to be a big hazzle for them… :rage:

Did you try their Live Chat? It worked for me.

been trying all day, it says que 20-25 people and never changes…. im starting to get fed up, mailed cs department, sent pm here still zip… really what a headache to get your 48$ back :person_facepalming:

Right now it is early morning in China. Maybe later tonight they will be open.

got my money back now… finally.

So here’s a weird experience with BangGood. I’m in Japan. Ordered some batteries in early June. Said they shipped within a couple days after order. Three weeks later, still hadn’t arrived, and no further tracking info was available. Thought maybe they were stuck on a ship or in customs. But no, checking in a few days later, according to the tracking info, they shipped from a U.S. location…but just sat in the U.S. for 3 weeks going nowhere, until finally moving a few days into July. From that point, within a couple days they were in Japan (literally one night from the point of departure from the U.S.). But why are they shipping from the U.S. when the listing indicated China, and why did they just sit there for a few weeks before leaving the country? You expect them to get stuck in customs if they’re incoming, but getting stuck going out? Still waiting for their arrival, but they seem to finally be at whatever regional shipping office is going to handle them, so I guess it’ll just be a couple more days at this point.

Great questions to which there are no answers…. that we will ever know anyway. .
Sad but true… many times stuff just apparently sits around waiting to move… and that is not just from Banggood either. The whole thing is a mystery….

The main ‘mystery’ is how we finally get the vast majority of the stuff we order from China. :+1:

I am a VIP4 customer, having purchased over 50 items from them. So,I see that they have changed carrier to deliver their priority mail orders, which means $23.00 more for shipping, but this change is no good.I could not track my order, and so,I forced to chat twice with BG,to receive a tracking number showing that the parcel has left HK at June 19,and no more. The item is a Imalent R90TS.
Chatting once more, they gave me a new number and a new company, named Royal shipping, that it seems that it is entirely unreliable, looking at the comments I read.
I was waiting to receive my parcel between 7-14 days,as they say,but as I see,it has passed the double time and the parcel seems to be somewhere in England.I received parcels with the old carrier in max 16days.
I wait 4-5 days more, and then I open a dispute in PayPal.I have paid $11.00 more, for insurance,so I hope it will be not very difficult to get a refund.
And of course,no more expensive purchases from BG,only cheap ones by air register.

My recent experience with BG has been positive. All items came in less than 3 weeks, good packaging, tracking works and all products exactly as described.

the only things I don’t like:
can’t use points on rather many items (ie items on sale), but that is a normal change we see across multiple companies

I have actually good luck with them.
My biggest gripe is they use FedEx SmartPost and stuff just sits in the teminal.
Most of the time I will gladly pay them $4.00 to use US Mail.

There are now 50 days passed since my order of a R90TS,and no answer, and no flashlight. :smiling_imp:

Only positive experiences with BG for me. So far I, I have always received what I order sooner or later.
As with any FREE Shipping option, sometimes it is super slow or super fast; & sometimes it is right on schedule.

As scosgt mentioned, FedEx SmartPost has a tendency to sit around the terminal in the USA now & then. But 85% of the time mine are delivered speedily & ahead of schedule with SmartPost.

Over the years, on the very few orders there have been a problem with ; customer service has always been great!

Fast refunds or replacement… my choice with no hassle. I always communicate with them by email, none a of this IM or chat crap…. always email. It may take a bit longer but I always have a positive outcome in my favor.

Keep up the good work BG!! :+1:

It’s been years since I’ve had any lost shipments from Banggood. I find them far quicker than most Chinese vendors. Usually about 3 weeks to Canada, though my last order was about 2 weeks. I think if your order is more than about $20 you get better shipping, although sometimes it’s a couple of bucks for shipping. Free shipping from China appears to be harder to find, lately.

As a matter of fact,my order was over $400.00. :frowning:

After 3 times of item returned by shipper or incorrect address (it hasn’t changed) or item cant pass security check I’m done with BG. I get the feeling the items never were in stock and they are just lying to cover up. So be it, they wont get another penny from me no matter how good the “deal”. :rage:

On a scale of 1-10 I give them a ZERO. My advice send your money elsewhere friends.
