Anyone Have Any Experience With Acebeam’s Customer Service? My UC15 Experience.

I only have two acebeam lights, but seeing they have not answered yours and my email, it's a red flag. Their lights are really expensive and since their customer service seems to be non existent, they'll be another brand I will avoid from now on. For me I will put them in the same group as HaikeLite. I have three friends that want an X80 after they saw mine but I told them they never replied to my email about a concern I had with their lights and that was it, case closed, none of them want anything to do with acebeam. All it takes is being honest with your friends and they'll look elsewhere to buy lights.

Is your concern related to the heat issue?

No. I knew it would get hot fast and that's fine, but the battery indicator light is way off. Acebeams silent treatment for so long is enough for me to understand their ethics. Don't get me wrong though, the x80 is my favorite light, I just won't be buying any more acebeam stuff that's all.

I want to thank LumenMax for his concerns in this matter. I don’t want to go into details about his help with me concerning this but he went above and beyond trying to help and had a small influence with them but to no avail.

Again, some folks here have had the same problem as me concerning nonexistent answering of emails and nonexistent customer service and again, why does BLF let them join us here when they can’t even answer an email?

Their stuff may be good IF if they work but forget about it if they don’t. NOT GOOD ACEBEAM and your company should be ashamed!

I'm thinking about putting up a youtube vid to explain Acebeams attitude. Never did it before, but I feel they deserve to get bad press this time.

I wonder if the problem isn’t the light, but rather your batteries.

What brand of 10440 are you using and where did you get them? Cheap cells might not be able maintain the current this light requires which could cause the behavior you described (inability to stay in turbo for more than a second, etc.).

Also did you buy button-top 10440 cells? If not, then your cells might be making very poor contact, which could also cause the behavior you described.

I have a UC15 that I emitter-swapped to XPL HI. Works just fine with Efest 10440 from Mountain Electronics. My 10440s were flat top. I soldered pieces of copper on their tops to convert them to button-top.

Thanks for that Firelight2 but if you read through this thread, I already stated I used button top 10440’s and in fact, I used the same 10440 Efest cells you used!

It’s just crazy that a manufacturer that WON’T answer a simple email to a customer here, they SHOUDN’T be allowed to advertise here!

Sorry, but I think ACEBEAM should be banned here unless they come aboard and answer all these complaints directed to them.

I’m curious about this as well. I have a Wowtac A4 and put in some cheap Zanes 18650’s and the light wouldn’t work on turbo. It would flash on and return to low mode. Just couldn’t handle the amps required for turbo. Could be a legitimate problem. Seems like the NIMH work ok which leads me to believe that is possibly the problem. Hope things work out or have worked out.
Edit-The Effest should have worked. That is odd. Guess there are just bad lights. I got a Haikelite that was bad. Took 3 months to rectify. Good luck.

Best company I ever dealt with was Thrunite. From the four Thrunite lights that I owned, one was defective and they didn't hesitate to offer a full refund or replacement right away. Not so many companies around like that anymore.

Acebeam is on the other end of the spectrum, as they refuse to reply to even a simple question, not even a warranty claim. Talk about a company that doesn't care at all about their customers in the slightest. They do make awesome lights though overall.

I just sent an e-mail off to sales@acebeam.com and it came back as undeliverable.

Seems to be a breakdown in communication between OP and Acebeam who responded quite promptly to me.

Unbelievable experience, and not in a good way. While on a deployment, I ordered a W30. They could not deliver to an APO address. Fine, I gave my home address with instructions to leave it with the front desk of my condo building and pick it up upon my return. DHL wouldn’t deliver it there, so they contacted Acebeam who RESOLD IT to someone in Oklahoma. Now Acebeam won’t refund my money or send me another W30. Claiming hundreds of dollars in shipping fees. All a bunch a BS! I would stay far away from Acebeam on any purchase.

I would like to share my personal experience with ACEBEAM, as spoiler is NOT good.

Past May 20th, 2021, I decide to buy a ACEBEAM H30 for using at work and if the lamp were reliable get more for other technicians. It was great because it was the ACEBEAM’s anniversary, and I got $50 discount. So far so good.

The after payment with credit card, I didn’t get any confirmation email from ACEBEAM, only from PAYPAL saying that I made a payment to XXXXXX… strange…

I check my account in their website, ACEBEAM.COM, and the order seems be ok. Next Monday (24th May) in my account appears as sent, no tracking number provided…. strange…

I wrote the first email using the “contact” option in their website, asking for the tracking number, none reply.

After 6 days later (30th May) I check my account and I found that a tracking number is provided…

I been checking every day the tracking number, the last update is from 31st May 2021: “DONGGUAN EMS, Cleared and awaiting international departure 2021-05-30 20:15”

Today is 2nd July, 43 days after payment, 37 days after the shipment. I wrote 6-7 times to different ACEBEAM email addresses like admin@acebeam.com, bella@acebeam.com , NO REPLY from them.

The funny thing is that they offer 5-year warranty in their products…. GOOD LUCK getting anything from them…

I don’t know what to do, this is by far the WORST buying experience I ever had.

I guess next step is rise a dispute in PAYPAL and spend as much time as possible on social media spreading my bad experience with such company to avoid other people fall in the same situation.

My experience with Acebeam:

On this forum I get a PM from Acebeam, because they would like to send me a flashlight for a review and they advise me to contact them by email.
We speak by email but the communication is very slow, I provide my details and my shipping address, but nothing has arrived. I contact them several times for information, they do not respond.
Honestly, it doesn’t seem like a correct attitude and lack of education.
I don’t like sharing my personal information with people who have this attitude.
