[♛ FreemeGB] 2019 Niwalker Group Buy, Rare Opportunity - MF5SV1 / BK-LR7SV1 / BK-LB11SV2 -【 ACTIVE 】

I’m interested in all of the lights above, especially since they are factory direct.

There’s normal endorsements:
(accredited BLF member) yeah that’s a good brand and some good lights

Then there’s this for an endorsement:
(accredited BLF member) I’ll take them all!

 Very interesting!

Bluesword: I can’t for the life of me tell what is different between the MM18JR and the MF5SV1! Niwalker has a terrible website and the MM18JR doesn’t have specs. same emitters, housing, reflector… Also they both state 10 000 ansi lumens even though the MF5SV1 says 15 000 also… Does anybody know?

Interested in the MF5SV1.

@mattadores, I’m mostly interested in the throwers, since I usually buy throwers not for me, but for some of my police friends.

Because while some like carrying the BLF GT Full set(2 of them in fact), for some, it’s a bit too big.

Makes good sense.

I noticed the 1900m 905kcd specs and feel like that’s got to be one of the highest in between lights I’ve seen in a while (almost BLF GT/MF04 but more than a TN42

Coupons got configured wrongly. I have already alert them to correct soon.

Speaking of the cd ratings however, Maukka did a test of the MM18JR which is rated at 730kcd and in his testing he found it produced 61 000 or 494 meters

their lumen ratings were bang on but their distance measurements made no sense given that they called 730kcd 850m. I believe I saw something on a different website stating the MM18JR has 440kcd which I believe is much closer to 850m.

Either way that’s a very big difference between stated and tested

It was a mistake for both of them actually.

They probably meant 73 kcd for the 1st one, and 44kcd for the 2nd one.

I wonder if they actually spell check their websites.

lol I highly doubt they care at all.

In the minimax series of lights I looked at on their website some use only the printed manual as their entire item description and others say nothing at all about the light except the following warning message:

This is the MM18II entire product description from the manufacturers website. I’ve seen non-detailed item info but this is a whole other level:

DETAILS

MM18III

Warning
Please caution when using higher output levels. Light body gets hot when the light is on for long period of time and avoid shinning the beam directly into the eyes. This product is high power device and capable of causing eye damage.

Specifications are subject to change without prior notice… means we don’t really know what it does but it’s bright… you should buy one!

Ok I just realized something is wrong.

The BK-FA30S, their 1st thrower, was rated at 650,000cd, with a head diameter of 100mm.

Their second edition, the BK-LB11SV2, is rated at 900 000cd, with a head diameter of 91mm.

How does that work?

Sending out now in 30mins.

Sent.

I think, that 191mm Diameter is wrong for the new thrower ! May be they mean 101mm…
My luxmeter shows 517.680 cd for my BK-FA30S and 117.400 for my MM18III.
Niwalker made a mistake, the add an 0 to their cd for MM18III…

Ah, 101mm does make sense.

I think, that 191mm Diameter is wrong for the new thrower ! The discription shows 91mm !
My luxmeter shows 517.680 cd for my BK-FA30S, 117.400 for my MM18III and 41.000 for my MM18Jr.

Niwalker made a mistake, the add an 0 to their cd for XHP70 of MM18III and it looks like they made the same mistake at the new MM18JR… :person_facepalming:

@freeme: The discription shows three colours (black, blue and red). What colour does it mean, the anodisation ?

NW has confirmed that BK-LB11SV2 head is 91mm.

Yes, it is smaller than Vistro but Niwalker claimed that its reflector has been redesigned to achieve better focus than previous gen.

We have a long conversation with them on this issue. Candela value will corrected to correspond its distance value. As for the throw distance, it is up to them to decide.

What are the differences between the MF5SV1 / MM18JR

MF5SV1 is the one I am interested in thanks

I dug everything up I could to try and estimate:

lumen claimed lumen tested candela claimed candela tested throw claimed

throw tested

BK-FA30S 2200 2199 650 000 563 000 1600m 1501m
LR7SV1 2650 903 500 1900m
LB11SV2 2650 903 500 1900m
MF5SV1 10 000 9 350 440 000 61 000 850m 494m
MM18JR 15 000 440 000 850m

so based on Maukkas reviews their lumen outputs appear to be bang on. to jump from 2200 in the BK-FA30S to 2600 in the two new ones is a 20.1% increase in output so it definitely looks like it's possible to achieve the additional throw.

Unfortunately the MM18JR didn't even come close to the throw specs but if they're indeed driving the leds 50% harder up to 15 000 lumens maybe they finally achieved the previous throw specs which were way over actual spec or they're only driving the 70.2s 50%+ harder to achieve the lumens and will have similar dismal throw specs lol I can't decide if I need them or if I should just save my pennies for the eventual MF03 or MF05 or GT4...
