Unfortunately I missed that flipper but I managed to grab the kwaiken which is also very good value for the money.

i bought a D2 knife from gear best and the blade turned out to be a good stainless steel but was not D2
it was tested by a machinist / metallurgist
Yeah, I haven’t tested this one yet to see if it is really D2. But whatever it is, it has great edge holding characteristics.

Once I had a quite negative experience at Brisbane Airport where our plane stopped for refueling during our flight to NZ.

Mine hasn’t moved yet. To be fair, when I ordered mine it stated it wouldn’t ship until March 28th to the 30th. So I wasn’t expecting it to ship earlier than that. I figure I will get it by the 4th of July.
