IKEAloops 1000mAh/500mAh no longer made in Japan / New 06-2021 1900mAh+2450mAh IKEAloops

@ChibiM, what happened for your messenger to send you a message about this?

There has always been 1000mAh AAs Chinealoops and 2450mAh AAs Japan Ikealoops in IKEA fron what I’ve gathered buying cells over there.

So… they’ve been selling both 1000mAh from China and Japan side-by-side? (See the pics in OP).

Yep.

1000mAh 5000 cycles, and 2450mAh 500-1000 cycles.

No, the OP shows 1000mAh from China AND 1000mAh from Japan. There was a change in stock. It has nothing to do with the 2450mAh version.

Ok that’s new then.

Edit: You are right.

Ikea has Swedish robot girls...

but they are really hard to put together.

He will bring them back, and sent me 1 package. He will also check whether the white AA's are still the ones Made in Japan.

That could definitely be the case in certain countries, at least it's not a positive sign when the move away from the Japan made ones to the China made ones.

I found brown AA "made in China" @ikea vienna

Did they have Made in Japan there before as well?

I am not sure (I only have bought the white Ladda)

Thanks.. I should double check mine as well that I bought a few weeks ago... hopefully they are the ones from Japan

White ladda 2450 and AAA also all made in Japan at my local Ikea

News: the new IKEA loops are now 1900mAh, just like the eneloops, and still from Japan.

Specs show s 1000 cycle count, so that might be the cheapest Eneloop 1900mAh 1st gen version, just like the Fujitsu Blue

they look nice, thanks for the picture and the update.

So, the new grey batteries are non-pro Eneloops from Japan, IIUC. Thanks for checking and reporting!

The “New” 2450 Ladda AAs here

Wow, I totally missed those..

Similar color!? So the 1900mAh are replacing the tan 1000mAh, and not the 2450 white... As far as I can see, there are no AAA PRO?

thanks for sharing

Lets see their price at my local ikea when they arrive….
Hope the will be cheaper

They still have the old ones at my local IKEA in stock…

“1900mAh AA with up to 1000 cycle count” It is the same spec of crappy China-made AmazonBasics rechargeable AAs. Likely these 1900mAh LADDA AAs will be made in China instead of Japan.
