ALL THINGS BUDGET KNIVES

Thanks. Last time I bought a 9” was about over a decade ago. The knife shows usability wear but intact as far as handle and blade functionality. It comes into it’s own on a carcass.

Careful buying and you get what you pay for.

I want to add a 6-7 inch bug out knife. Under 100 bucks.

Oh crap……they are still around! I thought they were gone. That’s were I bought my knife.

My bad. It’s not a road that I go through and I went Google hoping for knife stores. It missed them and I thought they were gone.

Thanks.

If anyone is curious or on the fence on these, here’s a quick demo I made showing the action on the frame lock version (also still available).

I love the smooooooth action. I “think” that up here we are limited to 4 inches on locking blades. Besides, I rather have a full body whrn getting up into 6-7 inches.

Thanks, Teacher . Looks like a great knife for the price

No. 1 is a Kershaw Oso Sweet.
Maybe a clone but more likely OEM, meaning a midnight run from the company that made them for Hershaw just producing some more without permission

Anyone have any Defcon frame locks? I like this one. Nice size. Ti 6AL4V handle. Claimed 3” D2. Caged bearing pivot. Whatever that is. Affordable enough. Available in a blue or green handle as well $70 shipped.

Nice find, good details in design for the price!

I finished my review about the CF version of the Ganzo F704 with satin finished blade:

Compared to the latest D2 models (FH31, FH21) as size reference :

TwoSun TS25

Twosuns are getting so hard to buy now.

Is that so?

It’s difficult to get them dirt cheap anymore but they are definitely available.

Maybe I won’t get another TS51 for $43 though

yea I got so many for $40 before, but now it’s impossible because people bid crazy amounts!
I paid $34 for the TS51, but it’s the worst of all because it opens very hard

I think you just hold it the wrong way and have one of your fingers on the lockbar.
It’s a bit tricky to get used to it but then it opens pretty smoothly.

Well, that’s the market. They are well worth to be in the $60 range when it’s about quality but the TS51’s clip is crap without modification

I have posted about these GoComma Knives in this thread before.

This is a True Budget Knife at around $10, plus or minus… I kid you not.

The fit n’ finish is as good as my Benchmades, better than a few of them in fact. “And I love Benchmades…. but this statement is just fact”.

The clip is the only thing lacking with this knife. It is just so - so & needs some TLC & and tweeking. But for 10 bucks…. so what.

The blade claims to be D2. I have no idea if it is, BUT… the blade will hold an edge.

You miss this little “sleeper”…… you lose.

Excellent knife!

Anybody have the the KA-BAR BK7?

Opinion?

I’m pretty sure it would be a good knife if it’s got Beckers nake on it… no personal experience with it however.

I can give you an opinion though…. from experience. Go with an ESEE .

They are great… any of them. :+1:

ESEE are good, but you’ve got to have small hands. No idea why but they seem to have the smallest handles ever.

Never had a ESEE. I have a few HX Outdoors D-171 fixed blade knives. I love the handle and it seems pretty stout. I haven’t really abused it yet but I’m sure I will come camping weather.
