just 3rd mode as an example ,i will take time to make it more comprehensive
Simon the S11 is a nice size. Easier to hold for me and offers some more heat sinking. The upcoming 21700 S2+ will be sure to please. I wanted to share that a 20mm driver would fit into the driver ring if it is flipped over and soldered. Thanks.
Any update on the 22mm to 17mm adapter?
yes,in production ,i need some more time
Satan@103TFS:Looking good any C8+ 21700 soon ?

hoping the headlamp is soon……
With the new C8 driver you could also build a 3v XHP50.2 lights. I think the 3v LED is rated for 6amps.
Id love to see some pics of the new driver and will you sell it separately?
yes,i have 2 sizes,
one 17mm
one 22mm
and i’ll have 20mm later
i will add the driver in my store today
Is there another to way to buy this new C8 with ramping UI without using aliexpress? I can’t update any of my information on their site.
you can use paypal ,too
you can send private message to me
Am I the only one who dont understand how new “ramping” firmware works? Can someone explain? Light starts in max mode. Then two taps brings 1.5A mode, and 3 taps brings strobe (or anything else from function mode selection)? I though ramping is stepless selection of brightness, but maybe I dont understand something…
that’s easy ,first ,turn on the flashlight, second ,tap the button 5 times, then you can enter into ramping
Normally ramping works by holding down the power button, light will “ramp” from minimum to maximum brightness, once at maximum it goes in the reverse direction max > min.
You simply let go of the switch when desired brightness is reached.
this operation is for side button ,but this is tail button ,so it’s different
Hi Simon ,what about XHP50.2 6V and 3V in 5000K range ?

S2+ 21700 is the most interesting to me! Will it be available in various anodization colors like the normal S2+?
Hi Simon,
Could you please tell if the new Convoy S11 will have 12 mode groups (like current S2/S3 models) or similar?
In general I want wide selection of low light modes, so such a mode groups is a very nice option.
S2+ 21700 is the most interesting to me! Will it be available in various anodization colors like the normal S2+?
Actually, please please please please please if there are variations in the S2, can we not call it an S2?
Just like the Sofirn SP10, where there was the original, the A version, then the B version, then the colored-B-version which was the same as the renamed-black-A-version, with tweaks to the UI (so original UI, new UI which became the older UI, then the new UI, …) and nobody knew what they were getting until they actually received the light.
Different styles, different knurling, different battery-tube, etc., let’s call it something different?
And please, not just an ‘S’ suffix, which drives me buggy when someone would write “18650S” and you have no idea if they mean more than one 18650 cell or the Folomov 18650S flashlight.
Whew. Now I feel better…
if there are variations in the S2, can we not call it an S2?
I’m voting for this. It’s much easier to order with strict model/features correspondence. I’m perfectly fine even with something like “Convoy F123DG45” if it would encode all features exactly.
I personally vote for calling the new 21700 S2+ version the “S21”. Plays into the 21700 battery format, and indicates that it is functionally different from the S2/S2+/S3/etc family.

Yeh. And even with the S2/S2+, if they have different styling, different length, different reflectors and pills, even different threads so they’re not lego-able, it can get confusing to those who’d think otherwise. Like, “the ‘+’ just means improved”.
I’d be okay with the “S21” as noted above. Describes it nicely.

Fine by me, as long as it has the shallow reflector of the S2+ and not the deep reflector (which is less efficient) of the original S2.
S21+ then?

valid points, makes sense. but its all up to Simon, hes the boss.

following one will be available in one week
max output 2500mA
0.1%moonlight-3%low-30%mid-100%high ,strobe(double-click the switch); if the flashlight is turned off ,press the side switch, flashlight can enter into moonlight mode directly.
So, where is it?

Another important question: will I be able to use the same optics (both reflector and TIR) with S2+ 21700, which are suitable for S2+ 18650 currently?

Maybe it is worthy to be patient If Simon has already product images, we will be able to buy it soon. For me it is not a problem if it is a bit later.
