【convoy】H4 and B35AM options are updated

I think GB will set a discount price.

yes, runtime.
H1 will be on sale on GB

The Convoy H1 @ gearbest is allready discontinued :person_facepalming:

Reloading ……

I saw the H1 on Gearbest yesterday, something like $45. Not there now. Is that what reloading means?

Armytek’s headband with the plastic holder is my favorite for right-angle lights, and I’ve tried a number of them, including the fancy-looking one from Olight. I find it the most comfortable, and it allows installation without removing the pocket clip, though that doesn’t appear to be intended.

For me Armytek have the best holder and Zebralight and Acebeam the best headband. Few months ago Armytek has changed the headband witth another of more bad quality, similar to Boruit headband…

Skilhunt have the best headband quality its at least twice as good as Nitecore and heaps better than Armytek.

The strange thing is if you google HB02 you find different versions.
I got a pair of these and i’m very happy with it.

Could you please put this lens on sale? I think, it would be super useful for cases, when LED has unusual light emitting surface.

E.g: think about this quad emitter array - or just when first generation XHP50 or 70 is used

One more question: do you have a reflector, which can fit this quad emitter array above? Or at least, is it possible to drill a d = 11mm hole into a C8 reflector?

i thought no one was interested in this stuff
and maybe diffuser is more useful

is there a hole in the spot if you a SMO reflector on quad emetter array?

i am waiting for H1 group buy on great price.

Which driver will be used in S21A?

The H1 is back on GearBest now at $30USD… but with that emitter, UI, and band, nah.

Probably any 17mm driver that also fits in the S2 (Simon mentioned that already). My preference still is Biscotti or plain single mode. You can buy a host, driver and LED and assemble it yourself - quite easily.

“Mode: 2 (LED; SOS) ”

To be activated when you want to say “help me why did I buy a headlamp with strobe in the main rotation” :stuck_out_tongue:

100% honesty though, I really like the look of the lamp, and I want to like it but I just…I just can’t. Not yet.

When can we order this second batch?? the actual UI is a nogo for me, Sorry….
my wishes: UI as described, usefull Headband and HiCRI SST20 LED

Boaz sells sheets of “DC Fix” which does exactly as in the pic, as it’s frosted to grainy, with adhesive or without.

For small lights, or in general, lights that are not to be used as throwers, it’s quite handy, and gives a nice diffuse beam like a TIR lens… sort of.

For smaller lights (eg, those which use AAs/14500s/16340s), it’s quite handy and makes a very useful beam for looking close-in.

Also, if you put the adhesive-backed film on the outside of the lens, it can be removed and replaced as needed, well, as long as the adhesive doesn’t get dirty and later refuses to stick.

’Though for me, for smaller lights, I’d much rather TIR lenses AND NO GLUE, so that the lenses can be swapped, as TIRs come in everything from 5° to 90°. I’ve gotten the best and most useful beam with a 60° TIR lens in a 4C S2+. Beautiful “warm sunlight” beam, no fried-egg look (yellow hotspot, blue-white spill) as with the reflector.

I have 3 different-model LuxPro lights which use G3s as the emitters, and they have horrible, horrible, beams. Neutral hotspot, blue-white spill, and a strong urine-yellow corona around the hotspot. Hideous. :confounded: DC Fix in fact fixed that right up, but a TIR lens would do the same, had they used them instead of reflectors.

I keep harping on mfrs offering TIR lenses (yeah, yeah, AND NO GLUE), so that the beam can be changed at will by taking 5min and swapping out one TIR for another.

One last example, my Boruit RJ02 headlamp has a simple screw-on bezel holding in the TIR lens, and I can go from 5° to my favorite 60° in under a minute, no tools needed.

I’ve been looking for a TIR to try in my S2+ but it seems they’re either a fairly tight hotspot with little spill and weird beam artifacts, or an almost homogeneous beam without much of a hotspot at all. Any recommendations from your testing? I would want something just a bit floodier than a reflector setup as DC Fix is great but sometimes too floody.
