Imalent MS18 with 100,000Lumen and R90TS with 36,000Lumen

Over 5500 lumens per LED?

The MS18 is super impressive in that comparison with the X70 assuming the X70 is running on turbo. It out throws the X70 by at least double. However, I don’t see the hotspot for the XHP35HI in the X70, which makes me wonder if it is even turned on.

Bela is acebeam dealer in Romania..

I doubt he would make a light look bad on purpose.

have you looked at the other pictures he made

Cannot also see the X70 XHP35 centre spot. Why will they switch it off?

I never said you a liar. For example as i can remember you measured your R90C 21000 lumens. I got on mine just above 15000 lumens what most guys on my side got as well. Is it not perhaps something to do with the lux meter.

better?

I asked him about the exif data.

Wow, when can we have this beauty? Is there going to be a launch presale or groupbuy Martin?

the production should start in about 6 weeks

hope to get a deal.

NW first please. It won’t be too harsh to play with it.

#NUFF SAID!

You can tell the exposure is turned up a little higher than what you have on a normal photograph. The key is that the night sky doesn’t look black. It’s a little bit light, but not too much.

Yes, it’s definitely over exposed. I find most people who attempt night time long exposure shots tend to overexpose the shot.

I edited the photo to show how it looks closer to the human eye. Once edited you can much more clearly see the X70 XHP35 HI hotspot that many claim is missing

Man, the X70 is the worlds current beast and next to the MS18 it looks like a moderate 4x 18650 light.

I’m seriously astonished at the difference between the MS18 and the X70. When watching other reviews Flashaholics did an amazing job showing direct beamshot comparisons between the X80GT, MS12 DX80 & X70. The single most surprising thing was how little difference there was between the DX80 and both the X70 or MS12. Now the difference between the X70 and the MS18 is like the DX80 versus the Acebeam X45

Can Acebeam even answer the MS18?? Seriously, with their pricing structure they would easily charge close to $1500. At that price even flashlight enthusiasts would need some sort of application where they could earn income off the investment to justify the price

im sure acebeam will do the x70-gt which leaked before if they wanna compete in the lumens war, but that was long ago before this light appeared so who knows, i think more like the price of such light would be 999$ or so…

From what I read the X70-GT was nothing more than a hacked cut & paste job by some photo editor. The pros on here also discredited the X70-GT claimed lumens based on the math?

yes fake but they did a good job on it lol, but like i said if anyone is gonna do one its acebeam, they did same with x80-gt, same host but more lumens so i would asume something same with x70 if they even gonna bother.

wasn't the X70 announced with 45000 Lumen and then boosted to 60k after Imalent unveiled the MS12?

so the X70 is already the GT (rumors I heared)

@mattadores:

thanks for the edited picture!

that's even more impressive than the original one!

about "overexposure"

have you watched the video I made about that topic?

I always make 2 or 3 takes of outdoor shots and always use the less impressive version ;)

I think it's important to fix exposure and use different lights so people can see "that one is twice/half as brightas line"

but there are still reviews with automatic brightness controll where all lights look the same. ..

on Android one can look at "open camera" (great app imho)

I measured the MS18 at 98000 lumens and measured the X80GT with same equipment at 27150 lumens instead of 32500.

oh btw

I get borrowed a X70 to compare with the production MS18 when everything goes nicely

And I will build a bigger lumen tube soon to fit all the big guns in it and it will be calibrated with Maukka lights.
