Status update & GREAT NEWS!

Lights are in production and expected to be ready to ship on April 1st (yeah, April fools day!). Everything looks good and we are proceeding according to the plan. => Keep your wallets ready.. :)

Wuben is really stepping up their game with this light! In my opinion, the quality is on par with other high-end brands, but you don't have to trust me on that: Please read what maukka said at reddit: [quote=maukka] Having used both I'd choose the Wuben TO50R over the Acebeam EC65. ..and then the GREAT NEWS part: I continued negotiating very hard and managed to convince Wuben to see this Group Buy as a way to build their brand and let everyone to experience their new offering => Group Buy price is now $20 less than what I have previously mentioned. [IMHO the earlier price was fair, and this one is a real bargain (~"zero profit")]

I dont want the included 21700 cell as I have a bunch of 40T, Molicel P42, and Lishen LR2170. Doubt the included cell will beat those. Can it be cheaper without the cell? I want to buy two of these lights and the extra included cells will be useless to me.
